Hi hoping for some advice please, does anyone have any recommendations of style blogs, don't want anything too high fashion, just general every day wear, in need of some inspiration.

Thanks :)

Hadn't seen what I bought today before, really like her style.

Alaskanebraska · 01/01/2014 21:14

They're all blithering on about trainers now. Having exhausted pops of frickin colour

MarshaBrady · 01/01/2014 21:14

I don't usually go to the blog so rarely read it, but Camille, Elen Kling and Man Repeller pop up on my pinterest quite a bit. I just see their outfits.

I love the ones like MR because it is real fashion-y fashion stuff. And she looks like she's having a grand time.

eshermummy · 01/01/2014 21:22

Just looked at Man Repeller - not my cup of tea at all.
The Frugality is ok but when I looked at it I couldn't get the image of the Frugality fervently wishing "when I grow up I'm going to be just like WIT" out of my head. Let's hope she learns from WIT's white silk post partum debacle when her time comes.

I like Tiffany Wendel's style but the site always takes ages to load for me so I gebnerally look at the images on pin

bunnymother · 01/01/2014 21:28

Tiffany Wendel is fantastic - she always looks great. Susie SoSo is a charming read - she's so likeable. Ditto Joanna from Poppy's Style. And Avril from School Gate Style is a generous lady - very nice to others. So, for outfit inspiration, Tiffany and some others are great, but Joanna, Susie and Avril are enjoyable for me to read. I have to say, I'd love Joanna's shoes, too. Acne, Rag and Bone, Golden Goose -yes please.

eshermummy · 01/01/2014 21:36

I don't tend to look at Joanna so much as she is a completely different shape to me but you're right Bunny, between her and Tiffany they've got the best shoe collection around!

DTI10 · 01/01/2014 21:40

South Molton Street Style - Anna Hart is ace.
All the tall things - good for tall people.

onepotatotwopotato · 01/01/2014 21:43

Sneakily marking for later, so I can
look properly at the links when not on phone.

MissBeehiving · 01/01/2014 21:46

I like lots of those blogs but I need;

(a) Bum 40 to get an office based job OR
(b) WIT to get a more boring job and to stop getting freebies

Not bothered about the chat but good links are a must. Also like seeing things that don't work very well, for example ages ago Bum40 did a boyfriend jeans search - if someone could do that on grey suede heels and plain silk t shirts I'd be very grateful Wink

lurkingaround · 01/01/2014 21:52

I like dustjacketattic blog. It's a lifestyle, interiors, fashion, likes/loves blog. Nice to skim.

DTI10 · 01/01/2014 21:55

Sea of Shoes did a grey themed post.

lurkingaround · 01/01/2014 21:57

Reiss have a silk tee MissBeehiving. I like it, what do you think? All important link. Comes in navy too.

DTI10 · 01/01/2014 22:05

Lily is a bad fit across the chest.

lurkingaround · 01/01/2014 22:07

It looks a bad fit, was hoping it wasn't. Have you tried it IRL DTI?

MissBeehiving · 01/01/2014 22:14

Thanks for the link Lurking - I do like it - disappointing to hear that it's a bad fit - now please can you all blog for me Grin

That Sea of Shoes blog is quirky and interesting. Love those shoes.

DTI10 · 01/01/2014 22:15

Yes, big or small chest it is wrong on all levels. Reiss fit has gone downhill.

lurkingaround · 01/01/2014 22:36

I also like Vanessa Jackman. To flick thru. Yy, they're all models and fabulous and aged oh about 12, but I love just flicking thru the pictures.

StatisticallyChallenged · 02/01/2014 00:39

I struggle to find blogs I like. Fullerfigurefullerbust is good and has encouraged me to brave some much more fitted dresses - she's closer to my shape than most bloggers but many of her outfits are too dressy.fab/retro to be realistic for my day to day life.

I really don't see many size 14-ish fat thighed big hipped post baby bellied mid twenties with sensible office jobs blogging. I like clothes and fashion but I struggle to make it work for me - I'm experimenting a bit just now as I have been in a rut of never wearing trousers for about 4 years but every photo I find is a slim hipped tall woman!

VworpVworp · 02/01/2014 00:54

missbehiving Jigsaw (well, at least the concession in our JL) had silk t-shirts in the sale- nice ones too, 1 style had a little peterpan collar, came in navy, cream, and black I think.

I also liked AllWornOut! Smile

I used to really like one (going way, way back) that was by a young american girl, living in Paris (this was before petiteanglaise was outed, when misdee was doing her waiting blog), she had red, long, curly hair, worked in the fashion industry, and was (possibly) from the midwest... but I cannot remember her name for the life of me... her blog was great, if anyone has a clue who I mean!

CointreauVersial · 02/01/2014 01:13

Statistically - try VIXPO.

She is in her twenties and not your usual stick-thin blogger.

goodasitgets · 02/01/2014 02:56

Curvy wordy and fuller figure fuller bust are the two I usually look at as they are both curvy/hourglass type figures. Everything I've bought that they've blogged about I love!

Alaskanebraska · 02/01/2014 03:11

Remember rhat fashion at forty blog. The American one. With the naff curtains. And she found us on here? Bloody hell. Would prob be reported as bloggist now and deleted

MrsCampbellBlack · 02/01/2014 06:54

That one was hilarious alaska. And am snorting at frugality wanting to be WIT when she grows up.

I've ended up on some odd j crew fan blogs where bascically some women just try on j crew clothes all the time and photograph them. But what I like about some of the more 'amateur' US blogs is that they put their height and measurements on which does give you a very good idea of how stuff would then translate onto you.

QueenCadbury · 02/01/2014 07:58

I really like wear and where. It's not all style as does some food/home stuff too but I like the daily uniform interviews.

I like to see on blogs people that are putting their clothes together in different ways and maybe just buying new bits and pieces. I do wonder how some of them actually wear everything they own as they seem to buy so much.

Alaskanebraska · 02/01/2014 08:14

On bored of them telling me how to shop the sales FFS . I'm 43 I know
