WideWebWitch · 23/07/2006 11:09

Right, is anyone up for joining me in a 6 week ten week younger plan? The rules:

Use sunscreen at all times
Do some exercise during the week, even if it's only walking
Cut down on or give up alcohol (I'm going to do another 6 weeks without it)
eat healthily, lots of fruit and veg
Try to get to bed by 10.30pm
Take make up off every night
Drink lots of water
Post here about how you're feeling

Starting tomorrow, so week one is week commencing 24 July 06. Who's in?

Today
2 pieces toast
lentil feta and thyme salad
a small amount of chocolate cake, I don't know why, I don't even like chocolate cake, but I was dishing it out and ate some without thinking.
I think I eat out of boredom sometimes and as a reaction to stress, I've noticed when I'm stressed at work I eat mindlessly, although mostly it's stuff from the fruit bowl on my desk.
No exercise
No sunscreen
prob not enough water
Def having early night, drank Champagne and wine last night was asleep by 10.30 but feel a bit rubbish today but I have 9 whole days off work so that's good.

Breakfast - muesli and 3 cups of tea
Lunch - Bounty ice cream
Dinner - Lebanese moussakaat (aubergines w. chickpeas - yum.
Exercise - walking on a demo for about 2 hours
Sunscreen - none
Water - not enough.

Am now having a glass of wine. Will go to bed before 11pm.
I don't think I've lost any weight/ BMI at all. I think this might be to do with spending all my days on my arse.

Did really well yesterday:
Weetaflakes
Apple
Raspberries
VFF yogurt
2 cereal bars
Haddock, potatoes & broad beans.

Today started well, but derailed by MIL's yummy duck. No chocolate though.

Were you on the London march Caligula? We skipped the walking, I'm afraid, and just found a pleasant spot between the stage and the Abbey. So no exercise there!

mrsbang · 05/08/2006 21:58

No need for sunscreen

Walking to town and back twice (not far, but worked up a sweat second time cos I'd lost my keys lol)

No Alcohol
Raspberries
Cheese on toast, pkt of cheesyheads, piece of tart, handful of peanuts and I'm now stuffing cheap n nasty chocolate eclairs as I type, which I refused to eat earlier...but then DH went to work and left them at home.
Will be in bed by 11 pm.
Not wearing make-up.
Two pints of water.

Really need to eat more healthily.

WideWebWitch · 06/08/2006 06:43

Was in bed by 7.30 last night. Ate a piece of treacle tart with ice cream but no supper. I feel ten times better today. Dh went to bed at the same time and is still asleep.

Sorry for adding my name and intent on this thread and disappearing - all thanks to f**king Tiscali who need a rocket up their collective bottoms. Anyway, in the time I started on this new campaign I entered a new decade and celebrated a little too much (choice of weapons of abuse were food and alcohol). But am now aiming for the start of the new school term for a more glowing, fitter, leaner me.

Have to say that I absolutely cannot and do not want to be in bed by 10:30pm, so shall pass on that one. Right shall go and drink some water. Good luck everyone.

suzywong · 08/08/2006 00:48

someone would not believe I was 7 years older than I actually am, and I had my manly chef's whites on but also a ton of foundation and subtle make up.

I haven't been able tohav regular mealtimes at all and have been eating on the hoof and getting too little sleep so I 'm not playing atm

but

suzywong · 08/08/2006 14:44

impressed suzywong with those 7 yrs. anniemac I might just try that

so today...

licked bowl of caramel I was making at work
ended up a really busy afternoon, so ate a slice of millionaires shortbread instead of lunch.

But have drunk lots of water and aim to be in bed in half an hour

on veg & fruit - last year I had a (short!) phase of chopping a bowl of fruit salad in the evening, putting in the fridge then picking at it all day. Really made me snack on fruit. Just need to get organised again!

night night
