I love those blue shoes and like both dresses marsha. What would you wear on feet with the orangey one? Lanvin wedges?

shopafrolic · 31/05/2013 22:57

Whoever ordered it sent it back because the shape was wrong.

foxysocks · 31/05/2013 22:59

But it's AW13 preview! So has it been reissued? Maybe shape has been updated

shopafrolic · 31/05/2013 23:02

Got to be worth a try Foxy
Have just had the spookiest thing happen....

Indian retreat sounds lovely Foxy.

Must have been before you graced us with your loveliness! I remember the convo, someone ordered the acne and the Boden. At first many said go for Boden, then we thought acne. Was it QueenBoo? We lost boo! Anyway it's really nice and a great alternative.

Not wedges, I can't do with dresses. Marant black heels but sometimes I feel a bit player card in red and black.

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2013 23:04

Shop. Are you ok?

shopafrolic · 31/05/2013 23:05

DS had a playdate here this avo with his 2 YO friend. His little friend kept pointing and telling me "the horses are sleeping" in our kitchen and outside under the arch by our gates. I was chatting on FB with his mum about it and she asks me what the history of our home is as apparently this little boy often displays psychic type behaviour. Our house used to be a coaching in, horses would have been tied up under the arch and our kitchen used to be the stables. Weird huh? Completely not style related but I had to share!

I'd avoid black and red too Marsha
Shivers

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2013 23:11

Spooky! Shudder. That would unsettle me for sure.

Are you shuddering at red and black Grin. I know, but am hoping the gap between dress and foot would compensate. And dress isn't pure red, bit orangier. Probably doesn't help.

So what colour heel would go with that dress? hard one!

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2013 23:11

Ah I mean shivering.

foxysocks · 31/05/2013 23:12

Silver? Nude?

Oooo spooky shop. Would unnerve me.

shopafrolic · 31/05/2013 23:16

Nude I think. Off to bed now, not sure I'll sleep!

God I couldn't cope with a psychic child....still haven't recovered from DS sleepwalking then weeping against the landing wall 10yrs ago........creeped me out and ruined a great carpet!!! That is freaky shop.

MarshaBrady · 31/05/2013 23:24

Oh cripes Dry!

santamarianovella · 31/05/2013 23:44

god almighty shop, thats scary ,and dry i would have collapsed on the spot!

LinusDKD · 01/06/2013 07:21

Morning!

shop how spooky!

Marsha is the red dress orangy enough to work with tan sandals/shoes?

DD is off her food since last night and has a slight temperature this morning Sad.

BrandyAlexander · 01/06/2013 08:05

Morning allSmile

Poor you Linus, hope your dd is better.

Marsha i love the ce me dress and shoes. Gorgeous! Shop, love the Bella too. Wear it with pride and don't dress it down! I just read about your shopbop saga. Don't forget I am in the US in 2 weeks time. If you want to order and send it to my hotel, I am happy to send it on to you.

Grumpy, I love Ann Taylor too. I go to the US 5/6 times a year so I stock up then. I was wearing this dress yesterday. Bought it on my last trip in Feb but weather hasn't been good enough. I loved wearing it.Smile

Its been a v stressful week, working till midnight most nights. my week ended with having massive row with more senior person on friday night about my presentation. It's the whole advice/tell thing. My lovely coach had to calm things down.

Went out to dinner straight after with dh and our friend who I hadn't seen for a few months. Should have been fun but I kept getting stomach cramps and couldn't eat my meal. They only stopped when I relaxed and stopped turning the argument over in my mind. Feel stressed about it again this morning.Hmm

Drywhiteplease · 01/06/2013 09:01

Thanks for Novice sounds stressful. Can you try to put it to the back of your mind and get some rest this weekend. Maybe you need a Wine or three later on. Hope you have a better day.

Grumpy are you going to the Derby? If so we need your racing outfits diary please!!!! Am getting excited about my trip in two weeks.

shop although its really freaky, it is a bit fascinating this psychic business.....do you think he could predict which items will be in sales, where and what price??Wink.....maybe a kiddie trip to the DR?!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 01/06/2013 10:18

Lovely dress Novice - don't let the b**ds grind you down!

Sadly not at Epsom this year Drywhite, on duty at sunny Doncaster instead, but hoping we'll have a winner. The horse has never run before, so we only know how good she seems at home - hope she fulfills expectations (esp as her owners are flying in form Ireland just to watch her). Checked the weather forecast last night and was hopeful of wearing a little dress, but it's quite a bit fresher this morning than I'd expected, and Donny's usually 10 degrees cooler still, so it may be a more substantial outfit that's required. I feel my nude Theory silk blouse may play a role.

Shop love that story! Bit freaky though...

McNally · 01/06/2013 10:25

That is freaky shop! At least it was just a friend. Can you imagine if it was your own child that was psychic?! Although as dry says, could be useful...

That sounds tough novice. Hope you manage to put it to the back of your mind a bit today, though easier said than done I know. Loved that Ann Taylor pink dress you pinned this morning. Have seen Ann Taylor when in the US but never ventured in. Will have to investigate.

foxysocks · 01/06/2013 10:54

ohhhh just realised there is a mark on the front of my wang skirt, DH reckons red wine. have spot cleaned and stuck on cold wool wash with my other delicates

i get nervous washing lovely bits for the first time, anyone else?

I am lol at predicting sales grumpy.

novice i hope you can put it out of your mind and enjoy the weekend. I have suffered from those anxiety headaches/stomachaches in the past, no fun at all

thanks marsha yep will be brill but also hard work. good stuff is always hard work though, right?!

foxysocks · 01/06/2013 10:55

whoops meant drywhite with sales predictions, sorry was skim reading

foxysocks · 01/06/2013 10:55

oh and am now totes coveting those cargo pants! they are LOVELY shop.

MarshaBrady · 01/06/2013 11:30

Yep sure is Foxy, sounds great. I always get nervous with washing first time. I know it will look slightly less new and fresh. I got an small oil spot on new Hobbs top. So irritating.

Novice lots of good vibes to you, hope your weekend is a lovely break from work pressure.

MarshaBrady · 01/06/2013 11:32

Lol Dry perhaps we need a psychic specialist on here Grin.

Linus hope your dd feels better very soon.
