I actually sighed with relief and happiness when I finally sat down at 11am with a coffee and opened my laptop this morning. both rugrats out of my hands for first time since sunday morning.

Faddy how about one of these dresses for your wedding party?

the tods i have are all my size so i think you can,but if your in doubt its better to order two sizes just in case.

Lovely, MrsRadicchio, thank you for the link! I'd never heard of this brand. I'm loving the drop waists. I guess I'm not really sure what I'm after. I didn't wear white on my wedding day so perhaps I will end up plumping for a short white summer dress of some kind. There's a pretty Vanessa Bruno number in the Matches sale but at around five hundred quid it's well over budget. I'm also looking at a beaded, backless Reiss dress on Ebay and there is a (white!) RED Valentino shift dress on the Outnet.

There is also the little matter of my motor tax bill coming up, though, so I must keep a cool head.

In other news, the Topshop order has arrived - the bright pink skirt is a winner! I sort of thought I'd be sending it straight back, but I love it. Great shape and it has perfectly positioned pockets. I do love a skirt with pockets. The fine-knit grey sweater looks good with it, and I think maybe a skinny navy polo neck might be good for A/W.

MrsR thank you for the grey sweater link - it does look perfect! The Matches website keeps going down though and I am in meetings for rest of today (sigh) - just have to cross my fingers and hope it's still there later....

yep matches totes broken. overload after they sent the sales email is my guess.

queenc thanks so much, I love the cobalt but not keen on tassles. zara is on my boycott list after reading about their horrifically unethical practices. i like the coral BR one but not sure re: perforations. sorry i am SO fussy! I will look later once get a bit more time

Santa I had a look for the AH bag and saw it's not there. In reality though as I already have a black bag I like it would probably be better to buy something in a colour like blue or pink. I had put the grey sweater MrsR linked in my basket but then the site went down. Time to think though is a good thing - I had decided I would not buy in the summer sales this year (this is hard, so hard to stick to!!) so happy to wait and see later.

I only had an AV tee in my basket and I was going to add the flats (and maybe a Marant jacket) when the site went down and it has been down since.

Will check again later.

Have resisted the Matches sale so far. Am bringing the kids up to town on Friday so instead to do Selfies smash and grab.

Have had a fab morning watching the Guffalo's Child at the theatre with DS and two of his little mates. He's gone for his nap clutching the mouse toy I bought him with a huge smile on his face.
I really wanted a McQ tank but by the time I decided to commit my size had sold out on Matches and Harvey Nics. I'm not sure where else I might track one down in the sale. this was the one I wanted Must stop dithering!

My Theory dress is going back. It was honestly so dull looking that I could barely be bothered to try it on. I'm sure it looks lovely on some people but I looked like I worked on a hotel reception or something.
