The rules are:

Eat healthily but this isn't a diet, just eat well
Drink less booze. I'm going to go for 6 weeks of NO booze but you can join and just drink in moderation
Do some exercise at least 15 minutes/day, I will be doing as many brisk walks as possible, I don't really like any other exercise
Take your make up off every night
Use sunscreen every day
Get more sleep. I am going to try to be in bed by 10pm at the latest every night

That's it. Who's in?

you know they absolutely HATED each other by 1982, and I think it shows in that picture.

can I join in? I have spent the entire weekend trollied and am feeling old and droopy (40 in 25 days time).

Today I started my day with water and lemon - how virtuous I felt. Have had no coffee, no milk and no sugar, just black tea and water, water, water. It's playing havoc with my bladder. I have also walked 40 mins.

Today will be ALCOHOL FREE

puddle · 06/03/2006 14:00

I have had a terrible two days away at a family 'do' which drove me to drink, eat cream cakes, stuff my face with biscuits on the car journey and also eat fish and chips. have been so healthy since january that this momentary lapse made me feel dreadful - really lethargic and a terrible headache yesterday.

Am back on the virtuous path today, porridge for brek and lentil and tomato soup with roll so far. I have been making healthy soups and bringing them to work in a food flask - so much nicer 9and less fattening) than a nasty sandwich. When I started doing weightwatchers I found out JUST how fattening all those pret sarnies are....

Am beginning to think that Andy Summers had a thyroid problem.
Those boggly eyes do it.

Been swimming with ds today.
He kicked off when it wa time to leave though.
Wrestling him out of swimming togs and Floaties and into clothes is roughly equivalent to 40 minutes on the Stairmaster would say.

CountessDracula · 06/03/2006 14:03

have had a reasonable weekend, lots of fresh air/gardening, a bit of a blow out on Sat night out for dinner with friend for 40th, had ham hock terrine, black bream and cheese plus plenty of wine (but not totally ott on the booze front)

granarybeck · 06/03/2006 14:04

Am feeling much better a week on.
Did have wine fri and sat, but was with friends so worked on the happiness = healthier + younger philosophy!

Also have gone back to remembering to use eye cream, can see a difference after two days!

Puddle, I am finding porridge for brekkie is brilliant for keeping me full till lunch, maybe I'm having twice as much as I should!

Good luck for week two everybody!

puddle · 06/03/2006 14:05

Porridge rocks, Granary.

CountessDracula · 06/03/2006 14:05
