Come in, come in, we have gloriously sarcastic and opinionated staff waiting to serve you. Malory will never know as I have it on the best authority she is safely away for the week.

Who's first?

welshboris, that was uncalled for! for me you are just as much a part of mn as franny or malorytowers or any other regular poster - and I never keep track of who is friendly with who. Everyone else on mn without exception is incredibly glam and beautiful and successful in my imagination - I dont see a glam crowd in the same way in real life.

Nightynight · 19/02/2006 14:18

but if I was at work on sunday Id probably be taking a dim view of life as well.

welshboris · 19/02/2006 14:21

Sorry for shocking you nightynight!!

I love the ladies on here who see the good in everyone, it really restores my faith in human nature

Love the first M&S pair MT - they were on my list to try. However, have unsightly bunion on one foot - wonder if I could get away with those?

Suede pair are lovely but I really want a stilleto - want 'elegant'.

Third pair not high enough but I do like them.

Yes, I could wear ones but prefer brown.

GDG · 27/02/2006 11:31

Here cod - wearing a cream dress that has some brown embroidery around the bottom and brown adn red beads round neckline (sounds hideous but is lovely honest) - want a pair of brown, high heeled sandals that are elegant (stilleto heel) but can't find any!!

cod · 27/02/2006 11:31

hmm ok covered toes?
open side? where have you looked

MT - have ordered the M&S ones, jsut waiting for them to arrive.

Cod - have just really looked on net - all usual suspects but nothing suitable as yet - need help!

Prefer sandal but covered toe possible

MrsBadger · 27/02/2006 12:33

Tried the first M&S ones - suitable for tottering only Sad

Found some suede ones in Debenhams though - more like the other M&S ones, but heels not wedges. Closed round toe, ankle strap and no T-bar. Not on website so no pic (grr)

Any other ideas? Will also need a pretty (and cheap) handbag...

GDG · 27/02/2006 12:37

Do you need a brown bag MrsB?

There are these on teh debenhams site:

There are a few bronze/gold ones too - a bit more glitzy depending on what you want. Look in accessories and occasion
