Blue you must be exhausted - try not to be too hard on yourself, it is nigh on impossible to wholly meet the needs of two children, let alone a newborn and a toddler. FWIW, I read that you should try and prioritise the needs of the toddler as much as is possible (assuming the basic needs of the baby have been met) as they will remember this time, but a baby won't. I just put DD in a sling for the majority of the time - I have one somewhere here that I am happy to dig out and pass on to you, if you would like it?
Hope you get some good shopping done today Decam - we did rather ruin that for you on Saturday, hey?
MiM you must be a bundle of excitement/nerves! Have you some music for theatre - I found that really helped (although DH planned - Comfortably Numb came on just after anaesthetic and Nancy With the Laughing Face as DD was born). You have been a complete superstar throughout your pregnancy - DS and this next DC are so lucky to ave such a devoted and lovely Mum. Can't wait for your birth announcement!
Hope you had a great birthday slay.
Your shoe dilemma made me laugh NY. I always overpack on the shoe front - your selection sounded quite reasonable to me..!
Thank you for your thoughts about my sister - I am having second hand info relayed via my Mum, but she does work for an organisation with their own medical team who are well versed in all things international, so they should get her home quickly.
It is looking like the selling of my Marni hat and necklace on Ebay may fund the Me&Em entirely
