How did Pickled make an entrance? I was busy looking in the other cave thinking you were all on there, must have looked a loon!

Good news Bloss isnt it nice when you can find things from what you already have? Thats what I liked about my MU outfit!

Rufus I LOVE the smug or mug mantra. What a great one to remember. Dress made me feel smug so think I will invest. A lovely Mum from school was in there when I quickly tried it on (over my jeans) so will double check with her tomorrow away from the owner (bloody mirrors outside of changing rooms)

Zembo DH bringing home a new wife is a perfect analogy - it must be so hard for DCs to get their heads round new siblings. Saying that, DS1 scarcely seemed to notice DS2 for about 3 months, he just noticed that I couldn't life him for a while.

Bloss I will miss the scarf search. I even found myself perusing Hermes earlier. Because, you know, who wouldn't want a £650 scarf?

My god, I'm finding Ripped hard after being so used to Shred. It's good that it's giving a new set of muscles some work, but I am suddenly feeling v unfit!

Both DSs poorly tonight with some random high-temp-and-misery-but-no-other-symptoms that seems to be doing the rounds of our friendship group Sad. I suspect tonight will not be a restful one.

MarshaBrady · 20/03/2012 21:23

Grin Blimey 3pm you all did well to last!

ItsNotUnusualToBe · 20/03/2012 21:27

Hi blossoming. Yes, I was here about a year ago and posted occasionally as I was merrily shredding, dukaning and wisely adding to my wardrobe ( think Janice, heatech and falke) and happily got pregnant with DC4. He's 4 months now. Im not particularly stylish when pregnant or the short term aftermath- like the others on this thread - though I've lurked avidly pretty much the whole time and identify hugely with many of the new mum issues. You are all such a lovely group. I'm from south west Wales and was in Cardiff two weeks ago. Not at the game sadly ( merely taxi for Him That Goes To All The Games).

Hello to everyone else.

MrsCampbellBlack · 20/03/2012 21:28

I think some age gaps are harder than others with siblings - purely anecdotally I think 2.5 years is the hardest and yet possibly the most common.

I had 3.3 years which was fine as eldest was settled at pre-school and had reasonable understanding and the youngest two are 19 months - so middle child couldn't remember anything else.

But guilt is the default emotion of the other isn't it Wink

ItsNotUnusualToBe · 20/03/2012 21:29

Though while heavily pregnant I had my colours at HOC which was a great experience. I'm a sultry winter. Style day to ollow when I've shaped up a bit.

Excellent!

Russianred · 20/03/2012 21:39

Just wanted to wish MiM luck - you're so close!

AntPants1 · 20/03/2012 21:39

annie yes to summer MU! Last year I met reine and bloss at the princess diana memorial in kensington gardens with our DCs. It was a lovely afternoon and DD was thrilled with the pirate ship......

blossoming · 20/03/2012 21:42

I thought I remembered your name itsnotunusual. Congrats on the newborn. And what is a sultry winter? Sounds like something I'd like to be!

Have been avidly puchasing holiday vests in all colours, thank you kettlewell Blush, and my beloved espadrilles in fuchsia and navy from Office. Getting quite excited for Easter now. You lucky thing fle! (and don't leave us!)

OllieinOrange · 20/03/2012 21:44

I remember the shrieking now - I did the same when Ants appeared in the entrance! It was instinctive!

Enjoy your break Everything - hope this lovely weather lasts, good biking weather - unless you have the saddle from hell like mine. Am going to make DH have a ride on my bike at the WE to prove my - and the saddle's - point.

Need to plan DS2s party on Saturday - just a small one for 5 friends but doing it at home and need a few little activities/games. Already have pass the parcel sorted (not a Dutch thing so they love it), eating huge marshmallows off of string using no hands (requested by DS2) and decorating flying saucers (paper plates glued together) and seeing who can make their fly the furthest. Am now googling games with lego. Also plan to take them to the local playground for a run around - and to give me and DH a rest. DS1 taking his responsbilities as an older brother very seriously and wants to wear a whistle to help control them! Hmm

I will post some dates for a October MU in the next couple of days. W&A On Tour - love it!

loobylu3 · 20/03/2012 21:46

Pleased to hear your news, MIM and how sweet of you to update us live from the hospital!
Hope everything is going well.
Lots of calming, labouring coming your way.

Can we be risky and pick a date? (at the mercy of the weather)

I love having an mu date lined up. And a summery park one with dc sounds so nice. What do we think, June sometime?

I recall Pickles appeared at the entrance to the cave and said loudly "no thrsese people are not friends of mine" or words to that effect. V v funny.

MIM thinking of you and sending good vibes all round.

Hi to everyone else. I wore my gok wan black Sainsburys dress today minus the sucky in slip and it wasuch better as didn't spend day constantly having to roll the shape wear under dress down, bit awkward at desk!

MidnightinMoscow · 20/03/2012 22:09

Just seen a dr. Am 3cm.

They aren't worried about the bleeding though. Have sent DH home to get some rest and I intend to do the same.

Am feeling excited and also bricking it at the same time.

Ouch though.
