slay: Very happy belated birthday! Hope you did something fun!
ollie: parents, particularly mums, can be so hurtful. My mum said a similar thing to me when we first moved here, but she was more complaining about my lack of tumble dryer or large, American fridge. Could he complaint be, like my mums, not a direct complaint about where I lived, but more a cultural complaint about the way things are in Holland (my DB lived in Holland and I do remember the house being peculiar, but perfectly normal for the area). Tegan dresses are gorgeous - too bad I am on a strict ban! Good luck with the party on Saturday - good thing you'll have a helper in DS1.
notyummy: I always pack less - more excuses for shopping
. Fab sounding outfit yesterday!
red: how worrysome re your sister. Fingers crossed for a speedy and complete recovery.
blue: Don't feel guilty - 2 young ones on your own is very tough. The sling will help (I didn't use mine at all for DS1, but had it constantly on for DS2).
MarshaBrady: I'd feel good in your outfit from yesterday too - the colours sound cheerful and bright. Your Celine bag is just lust insucing - and very practical.
verity: love the dressing gown. In my fantasies, I lounge around like Jean Harlow in lingerie like that. Reality is sadly different.
Mim: How exciting! Can't wait to hear an update.
Blue cardi ladies: my go-to place for cardis/jumpers/tees/everything is J. Crew, and they are now up and running in the UK. Check out their website here - it is their UK website.
Thank you for the Wendy comparisons - I truly am not worthy! Picked up the dress and I held firm (though she did try and sell me another dress). Now just need to come up with occasions to wear it - summer meet-up would be great. Just realized term break starts next week - need to get DSs schedules sorted and come up with day-trips. Holiday for them, exhaustion for me.
