Just popped into the lovely boutique close to home (via the toy shop - love taking DSs shopping for their brother's birthday presents - think we've ended up with some Star Wars lego which is more for DS1 rather than the birthday boy but anyway).

They are having their bi-annual fashion show on Friday to which some of the Mums from school are going - usually a lovely night out so looking forward to it. A dress caught my eye on the sale rail tho - plain dark taupe/dusky pink silk with long grey fineknit sleeves (sounds an odd colour combo but worked imo). Had 50% off. By Stella Nova which is a Danish brand. Would you buy a dress thats still knocking around so long after the sale started for an absolute steal or would you think hmmm, there is a reason no-one has brought it? Hypothetically of course......

Thanks for kind words re dd. She is quite taken with the baby-I think she's just understandably upset/confused about having a half functioning mummy and her routine being thrown. We are having plenty of cuddles, stories etc but I've realised how much I usually rely on picking her up during the day.

ollie, scarf requirements are: oversized, dark navy/grey/pure white/a little taupe not linen, geometric print, not flowers, not leopard not zebra. Missoni might be good now I think of it. Basically this one which I have, but with a navy background, and 3 times the size at least. I am not fussy, really I'm not!
