Evening all, what a glorious day. Style kind of went out the window here as it was nice and hot so dug out trusty white very short shorts (look better than they sound, and maximising leg tanning ahead of party tomorrow night
) with this Johnnie B racer back vest and flat sandals.
Kate Moss wedding - absolutely beautiful dress and veil just to die for, but thought she looked a bit disshevelled and in need of spanx!
Agree with Bloss about the dreadful older bridesmaid's dress too.
Bloss re the full price sharkskin Agnes - always satisfying! I've ended up with black ones from NAP for £122.50 so pretty pleased with them. Had to send my sharkskin HoF ones back as decided they were too big. If anyone spots a bargainous pair in a 26 please do shout. Also quite tempted by the coated black houlis - could work well into Autumn do you think?
Love all the bag avidity. Very
of the cream AH and Alexas LTEC and Plum. Did anyone snap up the stone Gracie that Emo spotted back in stock at MW?
Amber I am also liking the Freya. Quite fancy it in electric blue but kind of hoping it will get reduced at some stage.
Clevery loved the drunken posting, and hope your knee is sufficiently recovered for the red hasbeens to make another appearance tonight. I also have them and love the bright colour, and actually find them incredibly comfortable if I don't have to walk too far. Shame about the Pure bag, it looked lovely online.
Carciofi the first few weeks are the hardest when DC2 comes along. I can remember DH going abroad for work when DS was 10 days old, leaving me with DD 2.5 and a newborn to contend with. It was absolute hell as I'd had a horrific birth followed by a bad haemorrhage and I needed a blow up rubber ring just to sit down! Weirdly my mum didn't give me anywhere near as much help second time around as first even though I could've done with it a lot more....You sound so calm and relaxed though, and it sounds like a great decision to have a babysitter so that DD1 still gets lots of attention and quality time in these early weeks. Think I should have done the same.
Quick colour analysis question as I know there are a few experts on this thread. Would it be at all possible for me to be an Autumn, but still look good in cobalt/royal blue? It's my absolute favourite colour to wear, and one I nearly always receive compliments on when I am wearing, yet I am almost certain I am not a Winter. Am naturally mousey-mid brown, brown eyes and warm skin which tans easily. I should probably take the plunge and have my colours done but any advice gratefully received.
WAN hope your DH is on the mend and sorry to others Petit, Portia and Nan who've had sad news this week.
Well done to MrNY and hope you're having a lovely evening tonight NY
Time to refill my glass with Villa Maria Sav Blanc - lovely lovely wine and just the thing for rehydrating after my spinning class tonight
. Have lovely evenings all.
