Woooooooooo. Have just spent the last 5 minutes leaping around the house because our holiday is booked Grin.
I am so excited (as you may be able to tell!) Will be asking for advice re capsule wardrobes, taking a toddler on a plane etc. in due course but first priority is to get DD a passport - redllama - did you get your DD's sorted?

Thanks for bag advice - I think I need to have a serious look at some as it's perfectly possible I could fall in love with several! Showed DH the Alexa last night and he liked it so that's good. Perhaps petit could have a chat with my sister?

Have a lovely day HF - it is sunny here today & DH has taken DD out so I'm going to take the dog for a decent walk and then go shopping. Friends over for dinner tonight - we are making chinese - fridge smells delicious Grin. A good day for Juan!

Wearing new coral jumper from h&m - very cheery to match my mood

loobylu3 · 12/02/2011 10:27

Oh, dear- am feeling a bit left out with all this chat about Mulberrys and Anyas as they are totally out of my price range Sad. Had a look at the website and they look gorgeous so would without doubt be a lovely present mrsj.
vin- go for the legal job, not HC or you will never be able to afford one Grin

Seriously, I do actually need a new handbag as current one is falling apart inside! If anyone has seen a leather bag, preferably tan/ deeper brown for everyday use which looks more expensive than it is, would love to hear! Have been looking but haven't spotted anything I love as yet (apart from the Alexa)! Budget about £100, although might go up a little more if it is really lovely.

It is a gorgeous sunny day here today so will hopefully take the DC out for a long walk, Hope you all have lovely days!

traceybath · 12/02/2011 10:47

Looby - lovely handbags here - if you sign up then they 'll normally send you a discount code.

Up again most of the night with Bea so pretty tired but have BBH'd, put on new breton, skinnies and red patent heels and will be topping with black tux jacket when I go into town later.

The sun is shining, MrsJ has booked her holiday! Where abouts in Majorca as we went there last year . . .

carciofi · 12/02/2011 10:51

Bloss, we do the same when I want something big. DH would be horrified at the true cost of Mulberry, luckily I shelter him from things like that. Enjoy your night out tonight.

Looby, Boden also have a couple of nice bags.

blossoming · 12/02/2011 11:02

BBH'd?

OP posts:
mrsjuan · 12/02/2011 11:02

Those bags are lovely looby - the alexa is way way out of my normal budget too, hence the guilt!

Tracey -we are going to illetas. Holiday is only 3 nights (4 days) and fairly cheap and cheerful but from my cursory googling the resort looks reasonably quiet but fab pools and near the beach which is all I want really.

traceybath · 12/02/2011 11:03

Babyliss Big Haired Smile

LOL at Carciofi - I do a lot of sheltering too Wink

mrsjuan · 12/02/2011 11:05

Aaah - I was trying to work that out too!

blossoming · 12/02/2011 11:27

Thanks for clarification traceyb. You sound gorgeous as always Envy.

MrsJ, yay for holiday! I used the company recommended by Roary, here is link. Very easy to do and the pics were approved by Post Office today, they reckon about a month's wait at the moment.

Looby, was bought this for my birthday, which I reckon fits your bill perfectly. Looks much more expensive than it is and I love it.

Have just had a lovely morning sauntering around shops with both DC"s and taking a leisurely brunch in Cafe Rouge. May also have got one of these for our newly painted hallway. Have wanted one forever and saw one in a local boutique at a better price. This is my first weekend of lone parenting (DH in Bristol with his 'boys' Hmm) and so far, so good!

blossoming · 12/02/2011 14:21

Have just ordered this in smoke, and to take advantage of the free p&p if over £100, this in mole. That's grey right?
Sun is shining. Time to go outside!

OP posts:
mrsjuan · 12/02/2011 14:34

Fellow shorties - could I briefly sing the praises of this jumper? All the slouchiness you could wish for without drowning you.

Have also bought grey skinnies. Lovely and soft & not too low rise.

Good tops bloss.

Right - time to sort out the house - could even dry the washing outside!

roary · 12/02/2011 15:56

Mrsj paspic are great, much less hassle then getting it done in a shop.

How about this blazer? Not navy but cheap....

I should clarify from y'day that our limbo is in part because DH's potential offer is still being sorted - could all fall through.

FritziGreenEyes · 12/02/2011 16:05

We are home! I'm exhausted... Looking forward to snuggling up on the sofa tonight and catching up on thread. Have lovely Saturdays everyone!

vin - I spotted that Paul Smith dress last night when browsing (lovely) but I have too much black in my wardrobe and trying to obtain more navy for Spring/Summer wear.

Loving the bling HOH sandals too for MM. Hope you resolved the flat issue soon, stressful I can imagine.

Great day today, no rain. DC's were in the garden running around. Bliss.

mrsjuan we have stayed in Illetas. Had a great time.

mrsjuan · 12/02/2011 17:38

Ooh - brilliant DT - you'll have to tell me all about it at the meet up.

I like that dress Vin. Your head must be spinning with so many decisions about flats and careers.

bunny has been quiet - how are you getting on my dear? Hope the little bunnies are letting you sleep & D is enjoying being a big sister.

I'm in the kitchen with dd. The boys are watching the rugby. We're going out at 7. Is it too early for Wine?

Someone apart from me start a new thread please!

KILDARE4 · 12/02/2011 18:49

DD1 Going to her first Uni ball in Trinity tonight, if I do say so myself she looks fabGrinshe's wearing a full length Issa halterneck dress with a black background and silvery grey butterflies pattern, has had her hair done in a bun to the side ala Cheryl and her makeup is beautiful - proud mum emoticon!

Am loving all the bags, but don't really need one. Bought H&M breton today, seems like nice quality for the price, also got some 3/4 sleeve long t-shirts from Primark which are really handy for wearing under things.

traceybath · 12/02/2011 19:58

Kildare - DD sounds gorgeous and what a fab mum buying full length Issa!

Bloss - I tried that jumper on in jigsaw in the navy and its really lovely.

And I saw some trousers for you today in nightfall - lovely material but sizing very generous.
