millionaire I bought the sriped jacket from phase 8 you mentioned but ended up taking it back. I think I need a nit more shape to my clothes- being fairly curvy I can look like a potato if I am not careful. Also I could not think of that many occasions when I would be able to wear it as it is so striking. It is lovely though....Just not on me!

traceybath · 11/02/2011 14:24

Oh and tried the silky warehouse dress on and it did nothing for me which was a shame as it is really gorgeous.

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2011 14:51

I am very pleased to have ditched all coats today Smile

Am wearing new See by Chloe dress, bright belt and smoky blue grey Falke tights.

Roary as someone with family who couldn't be further, I really sympathise with your big decision!

carciofi · 11/02/2011 15:44

Blossoming, I really like the bed, it is an antique brass one and very comfy. Now if only I could stop DH snoring.

Zembo, I'm sure the swelling will go down soon.

I am torn between Anya Hindmarch and Mulberry bags.

Marsha and Tracey, you sound very glam. I am in black biker jeans, Uggs (but only at home!) and black cardigan. Boring.

Roary, I wouldn't like to be close to my in laws either. Are the Gap cargo trousers long? I think you are the same height as me.

petitdonkey · 11/02/2011 15:52

Tracey - I am lusting over your bag and also the new satchel on AH website. Was going to go for the Mulberry Edie this spring but maybe I should have a change....

Dropped so many hints to DH before Christmas about the AH bespoke purses and clutches but he didn't bite!!

Ollie The apple bags were making me chuckle, do you remember the SATC episode when Big buys her a Swan clutch???

Gorgeous dresses, Vino. Do Selfridges stock Sportmax?
I met LTEC the other day and she was in good form.

Just bought this Whistles blouse for summer.

Meant to say traceybath, I'm glad it's not me with the weight thing! I had my piece of cake, and have been feeling sick all afternoon since! It's just the sugar overload. I also feel all over the place, not sure if I'm hungry or not!
I may have to have a day out next week and investigate the H&M top! I'm having a bit of drudge day. I've been changing nappies for 6 and a half years without stop, and been putting someone in and out of buggies, or a buggy in the boot of the car for the same amount of time, as well as spoon feeding one of them. Good job it'll be wine o'clock soon! And I get to go out tomorrow night!

Hi all - haven't had time to peruse links but glad to see SS stuff is being pored over!

Still heavy going here for poor old DD. Docs want her in hospital for another 4 days at least on heavy meds. She has a collapsed lung, which along with the pleursey accounts for the pain she was/is in. She is slowly improving though, and at least her oxygen levels are ok, so she no longer has to be hooked up to that machine - just the IV to complain about.

My mum and dad are staying on a bit long to do a few 'shifts' at hospital to help us out and make sure she is well looked after. DH is up there now so I can come back and have an early night after I got virtually no sleep last night. Those of you on this thread who have/have had very poorly children and been with them for long stays - I am in awe of you. It is very tiring and noisy!!

Right, will try and look at the links later to keep my mind off things.

Bloss - oh the day in drudgery - for me the biggest developmental milestone is when they can strap themselves in their carseat Grin

Vin - DS2 laughed today as he noted I was wearing a leopard print shirt and then tried the zara wedges on.

Have had a quick peruse of the boden ltd edition stuff - nice silk camisoles but quite £££ still I think.

NY - oh poor DD and you too. Hope she's feeling better soon. I know nothing about collapsed lungs but it sounds awful!

I can just see DH's face if I appeared in a leopard print skater skirt Shock Grin

Bloss - I'm in town tomorrow with DS1 so could pick you up a h&m breton if you'd like.

Bonsoir - any news on the job?

Vin - are you looking at more flats tomorrow?

AntPants1 · 11/02/2011 19:22

NY so sorry your daughter is still unwell. Sending you all my best wishes.

Xx

RipMacWinkle · 11/02/2011 19:36

It's showing up in my s&b ants. Are you sure you haven't hidden the thread by mistake?

RipMacWinkle · 11/02/2011 19:37

Sorry that may have sounded cheeky, not intentional. On phone feeding dd
