Just wanted to say thank you traceybath and everything for your comments re jacket. I had a scared feeling for a moment that I was being deluded about its lushness!

Madammecholet, words fail me! I like the Tillie bag too.

Fritzi, if you don't manage to get the LV scarf, Crumpet scarves are really lovely.

The sofa covers are not removable but I am going to be very strict. I will probably be the one to spill wine or something on them.

AllBuggiedOut · 12/01/2011 13:58

Agree about how happy and fab you look bloss Smile

I guess that makes sense everything as you are autumn too. I still find myself drawn to the grey clothes in shops as I love them to look at and remain gutted that I look crap in them!

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 14:01

A thread clash! Blossoming, coat is beautiful and you look stunning in it.

OllieWollieWoo · 12/01/2011 14:05

Bloss - love, love, love you in that jacket! Scarf suits you perfectly too. Agree with what Tracey said re how different you look since a year ago - great inspiration for me and my health kick!
MadamC - thats great advice from your Mum re what your son or daughter will remember. My Mum was and still is one for getting chores done and is horrified if I leave them in favour of doing stuff with the boys - hence her infrequent visits over here!
Loobylou - lovely family pics - your kids are adorable. I can't walk in heels either and there are v limited pics of me for the same reasons as you (plus DH nevers uses the camera). I have a lovely professional pic (for work) of DH I might display - without him knowing of course! Nice to see Mr W&A's?
Carsiofi - I love your bed - would really fit in with our bedroom (v high ceilings, LA wallpaper, fireplace etc) but then we would need to change the wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables too.....! Sofas sound lovely.

Recent de-lurkers - I am always intrigued re how people come up with their MN name - care to share? (I need to change mine - used to call DS2 OWW when he was a baby - now sounds just wrong!)

I am having such a lazy week - done nothing but the odd load of washing and MNíng! I hate January.

DS2 at a b-day party which apparently is ending at Mcdonalds before being dropped home - I'm expecting tears before bedtime then!

LetThemEatCake · 12/01/2011 14:07

oh blimey where am I supposed to post? Confused

carciofi · 12/01/2011 14:08

Blossoming, you look very chic.

Ollie, mine is stupid. Artichokes are my favourite food and the user name artichoke was taken!

blossoming · 12/01/2011 14:10

Shall I say, close this thread, and use dolcees?

OWW, I was pregnant and at work, wanting to ask a question and had just been doing tongue-twisters with yr7; redlorryyellowlorry. Llama is DH's ridiculous nn for me (sounds like my name, which is Laura).

So really quite random.

DolceeBanana · 12/01/2011 14:59

Gosh, I have been a little lacklustre today...hopefully not coming down with something...but feeling especially tired.

Right, the jean thing...I have tried endless boot cuts and soooo cannot get my head around them...I know come SS11 I shall be buying them again, but at the moment feels weird. I love my skinnies......

hellsbelles · 12/01/2011 14:59

marking my correct place Grin - see you later.

DolceeBanana · 12/01/2011 14:59

roary · 12/01/2011 15:00

I am confused. VERY CONFUSED. Will repost my Epic Ode to the PInk Cot here.

DolceeBanana · 12/01/2011 15:01

Perhaps we should hold the meet up where Marsha's flattery lighting bagged ger a G financier (?)...mmmm?

roary · 12/01/2011 15:02

ALl you raspberry lovers will be amused to hear that I went to Mothercare this morning (hell, hell, I hate it) to get DS a travel cot, we are going to put him in there with a regular mattress for a while until we know more about where we are living and then we will do a cotbed/bed juggle with DD. (He is in an Amby Hammock, which we have loved, but he is far too big). Anyway got a v wise bargain at 50% off on a cot that I thought would be brown with pink trim. Thought I had to put my money where my mouth (frequently) is on the subject of non gendered colours, and it was a bargain.

It is raspberry with hot pink trim. DH, while an enlightened kind of guy, has Issues with Pink for Boys. Fortunately he also likes a bargain and can see the funny side.

IT IS SO PINK. I am still giggling. My MIL, who had an argument with me at Xmas (well, words, maybe) about letting DD Be a Girl (ie, wear pink tutus every day, in which she is not interested)) will choke. Honestly, it is exactly what she thinks I would do on purpose due to my silly feminist ideas. (I must add to give you a sense of the crazy, should it not be apparent, that DD wears dresses all the time, just very few of them are pink). I ascribe to Bunny's theory of No and No in relation to pink and purple until she can demand it!!

Bloss seriously gorgeous and colours are perfect on you.

LTEC am married to a lark, have 2 kids and I am a total owl. Cannot retrain. Wish I could because my most productive time is 4-8pm. Ha ha hahahaha!! Good thinking on the kids front with that one.

DolceeBanana · 12/01/2011 15:02

Oh don't be confused Roary...just that Bloss and I started the new thread simultaneously and so we can't have two threads, so we are here...Smile

pickledsiblings · 12/01/2011 15:03

link to other thread so that anyone who missed anything can catch up.

pickledsiblings · 12/01/2011 15:04

That's enough fun for one day, I'm off to do some housework.

MarshaBrady · 12/01/2011 15:04
