Hi Everything. This is exciting!! Grin

Ok, I have very dark brown, almost black eyes, darkish-brown-but-not-proper-brunette-hair, olivey skin but of the pale variety. I tan slowly but never burn if that's relevant and don't really blush. No freckles.

I think I've spent the last 32 of 33 years wearing the wrong colours. Because I'm a kind of brown person I have worn a lot of autumnal shades but when I do the holding the colour up to my face thing they drain me.

I know now thought that navy really suits me, as do reds with blue tones (but not orange). Also, bizarrely, I tried on a jacket last week that was mustard and it worked wonders so I don't know where that fits in... Confused

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 22:50

Aah, good. How did you wear Apuski? Thinking either Black Rats and black heels or some deep purple striggings and nude heels.

ApuskiDusky · 12/01/2011 22:56

Red, I wore black opaques and shoe boots. I love the fabric, gorgeous colours.

BTW all, thanks again for all the comments re my job, it's appreciated. I'll try not to drone on about it all too much.

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 12/01/2011 22:59

You didn't drone, Apuski. It's a big deal and this is a good place to get things off your chest and be cheered up.

macmama · 12/01/2011 23:01

Go for the the Reiss cake UO are a bit unreliable - one of the tops I ordered is no longer available apparently I bet the gold tank is the same at that price!

What a lot of well endowed ladies on this thread - not me! Expect I will be A-B once I finally stop feeding DD2.

macmama · 12/01/2011 23:03

"red* I think the stripey warehouse dress is very cute.

I have the top version of the leopard dress - it gets a lot of wear!

ApuskiDusky · 12/01/2011 23:04

Thanks, Oooh!

macmama · 12/01/2011 23:07

everything you just save those baby clothes if you want to - there is EVERY chance that you will need them again, even if it doesn't feel like it right now, I promise you!

CHOOGIRL · 12/01/2011 23:13

Red I have the Whistles dress in orange animal have worn once and yes I did pay £135 Blush It is very flattering.

Another Rigby and Peller fan here. 34E in R&P 36C in M&S Confused Also love the Elle McPherson, but sometimes find them a bit uncomfortable to wear all day.

Ungaro is FABULOUS, but must repeat 'I am on a budget'

Have ordered gold Blochs and booked the hotel.

Tracey remember I have two LV's on hold. If I decide on the purple will be happy to get you the pink.

Big up for Elle MacPherson underwear here. Its ALL I wear pretty much my mum sends them to me from NZ as presents (cheaper there). They fit really well and I find them superb quality I just don't get on with English underwear for some reason

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 23:22

Don't be Blush, had the place staked out on the day the sale started. Only my non-working status that had me not buying it at first sight. Is it ok that the ladies at Whistles know me by first name..?

Off to bed, DD has her first Monkey Music class tomorrow and then we're traveling to the far reaches of the Metropolitan line for a long overdue visit to Step-Grandparents.

Night all.

I can imagine that everything its a huge adjustment to make - everything you previously anticipated, expected has changed.

I think its right to allow yourself time to grieve for the lost dream - you are only human and this is a huge deal. But do take heart and know that (perhaps more than ever) a sibling is a sibling whether connected by blood on both sides or not. My DD's adore their big brothers and vice versa. And my DD's brothers also love the little sister they have from their mum and her husband.

And, if that is to be your future (who knows!), then be sure that your DS won't be alone, or the odd one out - blended families are normal these days, not an exception.

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 12/01/2011 23:46

Wow thanks Everything. DH is getting tired and grumpy at my endless appetite for MNetting in favour of sleep so I'd best go but I'll digest that properly tomorrow.

I've confused myself in the past when trying to self diagnose. Maybe I'm just no good at being able to tell when colours work on me?

Sleep tight ladies. Loving over-sharing with you all. Grin

Back later - school run beckons!

MarshaBrady · 13/01/2011 06:58

Morning all! Everyone up see you later!

mrsjuan · 13/01/2011 07:31

Morning all- well done on the early rising cake. My mum use to wake me up at that time if I hadn't finished my homework from the night before as she is a firm believer that 'it's th hours before midnight that count' I still do the same if I've got a lot on so I guess I'm a lark

LetThemEatCake · 13/01/2011 07:58

thanks for the support, was very productive morning

thanks for all the MOAM research Marsha - will have a look through later. Can I suggest that as the list narrows, we take the discussion off this thread and confine to PMs - just don't want any weirdness, y'know? Public forums and haters and all that Grin

Sorry to sound paranoid

but honestly, think it's best Smile

mrsJ excellent work on the HH can't wait to see pics
