Ollie am so pleased about warehouse dress

Sophable: cashmere:: washing machine, pillowcase, handwash cycle. High maintenance, no.

Really choo? How weird! Let's not say what they are on here, I've had mn issues of this nature before

Operation morning lark stage 1. Good night!

hellsbelles · 12/01/2011 21:30

Kildare - I like it - caveat - everytime I like something on the Outnet it turns out to be horrid in RL

blossoming · 12/01/2011 21:30

I can't believe you just linked a teapot plum!
kildare that dress is quite delightful. What do you want it for?
meggles, I love this time of year. I got it in the sales darling!
redllama, I don't think the colours are particularly summery though are they? Better with opaques, but then you'd need something to go over it..
Right off to measure my boobage. I think I may be heading towards A or B cup. Thanks hells for the link.

goodnight Cake...

Heathcliffscathy · 12/01/2011 21:33

blossoming and anyone needing measuring...if you are within striking distance of a rigby and peller GO! you don't need to buy anything there but you will have a definitive size. and the other clientele are a hoot (scuse pun).

once you have your size and if you are small of back and large of breast then freya is your brand. figleaves do the full range fab bikinis too.

Heathcliffscathy · 12/01/2011 21:34

LTEC i bow to your superior cashmere knowledge! thanks!

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 21:34

Why thank you . I know the whistle was for thle top, but right now, I'll grab and hang on to the nearest hint of a compliment.

Measuring tips from the top here

notyummy · 12/01/2011 21:35

Hi all. Am exhausted. But now relaxing in front if the biggest loser....last week I ate a crunchie whilst watching it; this week it's a creme egg!! Grin

Red I like that dress- in fact I think I may have just seen it in Grazia...? It could be worn over long sleeved top and skinnies until spring.

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 21:39

See what you mean about the colours. Black dominance may be a no-no. Summery colours tend to wash me out. In fact, I'm no good at Summer clothes shopping - I get distracted by pretty prints and end up with entirely unsuitable clothes. Must work on rectifying this

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 21:41

Ooh, I haven't even seen this week's Grazia. Might this make me on-trend?!

Glad you made it back - Leeds was my University town and I very much miss the shopping. Everything so nice and close.

ApuskiDusky · 12/01/2011 21:42

Glad to hear you're back home and relaxing NY.

blossoming · 12/01/2011 21:50

Glad you're home too notyummy. What a great mother's help you have. And you found her in the job centre didn't you? What a find! Enjoy that creme egg. Have one for me.

I looked at the m&s guide and seem to be 34C. More shopping...

OP posts:
notyummy · 12/01/2011 21:56

Yes Bloss she replied to an ad we placed with the local job centre. Like having an additional grandma (a helpful one, unlike some of the ones people have here..) Although she is relatively well paid obviously!! TBH if I hadn't found someone like her I would had to have given up my job when DH started going away as much.

Red - I think it was Grazia. I am now wondering if it was Stella or Style supplements. Either way there is a fashionista out there who agrees with you!

bunnymother · 12/01/2011 21:58

Evening my lovelies!

Busy day without a minute to myself. Until now - although still have babies lying next to me...

Thanks for all the amusing and supportive responses re Dr and separated stomach muscles. To be fair to the poor woman, she was much nicer this time than w DD1, but I think she isn't familiar w the issue at all so recommended ultrasound then referral to surgeon. From my Google searching, there are Tulpe exercises one can do to "coax" the muscles together, and also, of course, there is physio. Both I would be trying before "getting choppy" as Plum said! The issue isn't "hurting" me, but it makes my tum look an odd shape as it bulges at the top where the muscles have let my stomach protrude. Not a good idea to let it stay that way long term, from a health perspective. The separation is about 6 or 7 fingers wide as far as I can tell, so annoyed that I have to work hard to fix it

Re Westfield, yes def 11am next Tues is what I have in my mental calendar, and delighted that its Cakey, Carciofi and Roary. So sorry if anyone else is coming and I haven't seen it. Only skimmed thread in hastiest possible way.

Bloss - DH exercising w you? If he is like my DH, avoid avoid avoid. My DH has been playing sport for donkey's years and is quite fit, despite not exercising at the mo'. Really hate the whole pep talk thing he tries w me to see if he can get me moving. I work alone, you see Wink, and end up wanting to stamp on his foot and scarper off.

So sorry to read of unwell little children - poor little loves.

BTW those of you on a diet, can I recommend watching this BBC program called 10 Things You Need To Know About Losing Weight - I found it v interesting to learn of the "science" behind some of their top 10 tips. And I think Michael Mosely is quite, err, watchable Blush. Not a patch on DH, though.

bunnymother · 12/01/2011 22:03

Oh, Looby - can you add me as a friend? I loves a nosy, I does...

Marsha - glad I wasn't the only one who watched Priceless and started compiling a mental clothes shopping list! Audrey Tatou really is the most beguiling woman, isn't she?!

God, what else have I forgotten to post about? Am falling behind on so many fronts that will just have to do my best at posting and assume you all know am not either offended at anything anyone has posted to me about deliberating ignoring if don't answer/post.

notyummy · 12/01/2011 22:04

Grin at Bunny and Michael Moseley. I meant to say- the seminar I went to today was run by 2 consultants, both of whom were v good. One if them was v easy on the eye..... Kept me focussed on the impending energy and economic apocalypse I can tell you ladies...

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 12/01/2011 22:07

Nooo! Just lost an enormous post full of boob related wisdom!

Sheesh. The gist was that I completely agreed with the whole boat neck vs frumpy frumpster wrap dress thing. My favourite top half of a dress ever was on this beauty. It was A M A Z I N G but I has to send it back (sob) cos you could see my knickers. Still a bit in love with it though (double sob).

How could Trinny and Tranny get it so wrong? There are legions of women following dodgy wrap dress advice they've doled out.

I like Elle Macpherson's range for D+ sizes. This is my fave.

My best bra fitting tip is that you shouldn't be able to ping a new bra; even on its largest setting it should be tight. The pingability should only come as it stretches. That, and the fact that you should resize the straps for each west - in my case making them as short as possible.
Sophable the John Smedley top isn't tight. It's a bit woolly so has some give but I'd say it's gently fitted. The plus side of having robust fabric is that it holds it's own against my ravaged post-pregnancy belly.

Night night Cake, mind the bedbugs don't bite.

ApuskiDusky · 12/01/2011 22:08

Bunny, I have a book on the tupler technique that I've finished with if you want it?

blossoming · 12/01/2011 22:16

I've been meaning to say for ages that I have the dukan diet book and the dukan recipe book. Free to a good home.

OP posts:
Heathcliffscathy · 12/01/2011 22:21

bloss is it that shit? :o

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 12/01/2011 22:26

This thread is utterly disastrous for my finances! I've just seen Blossoming's jacket and of of course I want it. You look really gorgeous Blossoming.

But it's double breasted. Probably won't work on me? .

Actually Blossoming can I be cheeky and ask you about colours?

(And its not it's. Sorry peeps).

pickledsiblings · 12/01/2011 22:26

Bunny, I loved priceless and also enjoyed Coco avant Channel. Beguiling is so the right word for AT.

Plum, I love the sound of your new scarf. Can you link?

Oh yes, you ladies with the boob measuring going on, I know it's just a way to justify new undies Wink.

Looby, what a pity you can't get some help for tomorrow.

OWW, I got my new book group book today - A week in December. Have you done it?

redllamayellowllama · 12/01/2011 22:30

Am out for cocktails and a spot of dancing as a pre-birthday celebration on Friday.

Can't decide on what to wear, this (for which I most definitely did not pay £135 - was £60 in my local Whistles) needs a debut, but is it a bit 'i've not been out for ages so am putting on my best dress'?

Bunny, a friend of mine is a newly qualified physic and sen me some fab exercise sheets to use post-baby. Will gladly send on to you.
