No, smart arse, you can use the rotating bit whilst moving it through your hair and it doesn't tangle. I was worried about this but just one go showed it isn't an issue.... Well not unless you really tried...

TheHollyAndTheIfifi · 10/12/2010 18:43

Ohh I want one of those...do i have to end up with a sooper bouncy bouncy fringe though like the girl in the Amazon video oad...

pagwatch · 10/12/2010 18:47

Superdrug have it for £39.99.
That is where I got mine

KittyTwoShoes · 10/12/2010 18:48

What exactly is it? Is it only for straight hair (as in, does it straighten hair, or leave it wavy)?

AitchTwoOh · 10/12/2010 19:01

both, depending on which direction you twizzle the brush.

stnikkilarse1978 · 10/12/2010 19:10

Does it work on curly hair? I.e to make it straight. I am not keen on straighteners anymore as they make my hair so flay but my hair is fairly curly (and long) so if I can straighten my hair with it I am going to buy one now! Grin

Jcee · 10/12/2010 19:10

argos have it for £35 too

stnikkilarse1978 · 10/12/2010 19:12

They have it at Comet for £37.99 - won't let me link for some reason at the mo.

pagwatch · 10/12/2010 19:12

It isn't for straight hair necessarily. I have layered soft full curls

said · 10/12/2010 19:12

Can people stop talking about them now because it keeps selling out. You can start again once I've acquired some. Grin

stnikkilarse1978 · 10/12/2010 19:13

So do you use it to straighten then Pagwatch or to shape your curls?

MsFC · 10/12/2010 19:13

Oh, used mine for the first time yesterday. It's bloody amazing!!

Rexy · 10/12/2010 19:18

Got mine from Viking Direct - sold out everywhere else eg Boots,Superdrug will try it out over the weekend.

said · 10/12/2010 19:20

What's the difference between this one and the Tresemme one for half the price?

pagwatch · 10/12/2010 19:20

I use it to give it body and big curls. I get curls but no frizz. And that 'blow dried at the hairdressers' fullness.

I can see how you could do straight and sleek with it though.
I am too old for straight hair [sigh]

didldidi · 10/12/2010 19:31

how long does your hair need to be? Mine just reaches my shoulders - would be enough to get a decent rotation going?

stnikkilarse1978 · 10/12/2010 19:32

Right I have reserved myself a pair at Argos to pick up tomorrow. I am out tomorrow night so will attempt it before I go out. Does it take longer than it would to blow dry it normally?

If I go out tomorrow night looking like Russell Brand I will blame all of you! You have been warned.....

Hulla · 10/12/2010 19:49

I found it's quite quick to dry my long, fine hair. Tricky on the fringe but that may just be practice. DH was mesmerised watching me use it, he was very impressed. Everyone who's seen my hair post-use has either bought one or asked for one for Christmas.

I use mine with some Tigi stuff so my hair has some volume/staying power.
