No, smart arse, you can use the rotating bit whilst moving it through your hair and it doesn't tangle. I was worried about this but just one go showed it isn't an issue.... Well not unless you really tried...

superdrug has it for 40 plus if you spend over 50quid they give you a tenner token.i think it's great.

What exactly is it? Is it only for straight hair (as in, does it straighten hair, or leave it wavy)?

both, depending on which direction you twizzle the brush.

Does it work on curly hair? I.e to make it straight. I am not keen on straighteners anymore as they make my hair so flay but my hair is fairly curly (and long) so if I can straighten my hair with it I am going to buy one now!

What's the difference between this one and the Tresemme one for half the price?

I use it to give it body and big curls. I get curls but no frizz. And that 'blow dried at the hairdressers' fullness.

I can see how you could do straight and sleek with it though.

how long does your hair need to be? Mine just reaches my shoulders - would be enough to get a decent rotation going?

Right I have reserved myself a pair at Argos to pick up tomorrow. I am out tomorrow night so will attempt it before I go out. Does it take longer than it would to blow dry it normally?

I found it's quite quick to dry my long, fine hair. Tricky on the fringe but that may just be practice. DH was mesmerised watching me use it, he was very impressed. Everyone who's seen my hair post-use has either bought one or asked for one for Christmas.

I use mine with some Tigi stuff so my hair has some volume/staying power.
