I am getting embarrassed by the repeated comments on my hair at work..must have looked shit before.

yellowkiwi · 12/01/2011 18:35

I only got to use mine twice and then it brokeSad

OhBuggerandArse · 12/01/2011 18:40

5dollar, where did you see it on Amazon for £34? I can only find £40.

hillyhilly · 15/01/2011 17:36

Thank you Mumsnet, just used mine for the first time on my (new) shoulder length bob - fantastic results, swishy and shiny and really easy!

CountessVonKnackerstein · 16/01/2011 21:50

But is it as good as my lovely babyliss styling wand?

BangersNGash · 12/10/2011 21:03

I'm a little late in finding this product but I love it too!

CDMforever · 12/10/2011 22:19

Me too Bangers and I got it for £25 at Asda!

Do you use a hair product before using it? Need something to give it more staying power....

BangersNGash · 12/10/2011 22:32

CDMforever, my hair is awfully curly so I've had it cut short (shoulder length)with a fringe to get rid of the dead ends. I still use straighteners (ghds) but before and after I straighten it I use the BBH - gives it extra voulume and sometimes I dont press the inward button, I turn it outward and it creates more volume that way aswell.

I got BedHead serum from my hairdressers - too expensive though so until that's done, I am not sure what else would work.

£25 quid! Bargain!

bigpants103 · 12/10/2011 23:07

It's online at asda for £43.50. Did you get it recently for £25?

Hetaera · 20/10/2011 09:46

Has anybody tried the John Frieda copy? It looks fairly robust. My Babyliss is taking a bit of punishment since I finally got the knack of using it.

valiumredhead · 20/10/2011 12:05

I got one a couple of weeks ago and think it's very over priced at £44 quid which is what I paid for mine from Argos.

It only works on my hair if it's not clean -so looks ok from a distance but not up close iykwim?

Doesn't work at all on hair that is freshly washed and gets really tangled very quickly.

I use it as a 'finisher' after I have blow dried properly with a big round brush so it doesn't save me any time.

Bangers was it the blow out balm from TIGI? I am REALLY impressed with that stuff, I get it from Amazon for a tenner and it lasts ages!
