that's interesting, ggirl, that's the stuff that wouldn't actually come out of the can with me, i was furious because in a fit of hopefulness i'd bought three cans. the nozzle wouldn't unblock after just a few uses.

btw the purple thing doesn't go on any old way, you have to look for the arrows on the barrel, then it's fine ime.

aitch-how annoying ,can you take them back. The nozzle is the best part of the stuff as you can get it straight onto the roots unlike lots of other mousses.

Rohey · 16/12/2010 09:43

Wow...
I had not expected so many of you to buy it..happy swishing and swaying of gorgeous hair... x x x

i chucked them, ggirl. it WAS annoying. Grin

Kristingle · 16/12/2010 10:36

thanks ggirl

will try but will keep receipt and march back to Boots and DEMAND a refund if not satisfactory Grin

my hair is very soft today after swishing it last night. this would be good if you have wild frizzy locks that need tamed but is bad for me with soft fine hair

notasize10yetbutoneday · 16/12/2010 12:00

EEk I can't beleive I have just spent £45 on a new hair toy on the strength of a load of women on t'internet! Really hope it works!

nigglewiggle · 16/12/2010 12:08

Used mine this morning. I hadn't washed my hair, so I gave it a spritz with water first. It was fab! I was slightly unnerved as it first started winding my hair up, but it didn't tangle and it gave it a nice lift.

I particularly liked the fact that it was so easy to do the back of my hair, something I'm useless at. Grin

anchovies · 16/12/2010 14:23

Has anyone had success on a graduated chin length bob or is this too short? Want to get my mum one (she has a very bad back and struggles to do her hair) but thinking it might not suit short, thick, very straight hair?

petitdonkey · 16/12/2010 14:31

Oooh - mine has arrived already, I only ordered on Tuesday based entirely on this thread!! Want to play now!

Rohey · 16/12/2010 14:45

Just tried it again on my below shoulder length hair. I am getting better and can now move it up and down my hair as shown in the you tube video. My hair looks lovely.... my advice is practice makes perfect x

Funnily enough I've got a tigi spray where the nozzle has buggered. Tis ancient though. Same happened to a treseme bottle. I sent it back & they sent me vouchers.

nigglewiggle · 16/12/2010 16:31

anchovies mine is a graduated bob, but a bit longer than chin length (about 2 inches, depending on which of my chins you're looking at Xmas Grin) and it works well. It is very easy on the arms/back as it is very light.

brimfull · 16/12/2010 17:47

loads of compliments on my hair
most people think I have just been to the hairdresser!

nutcrackerneepsntinseltatties · 17/12/2010 06:27

I am tempted! My hair is curly though and I dry it in big ringlets. Would it not just pull the curl out?

notasize10yetbutoneday · 17/12/2010 08:40

Did anyone gettheirs delivered from currys website? How long did it take to come? Not sure how much longer I can wait for the hair of my dreams...

daffyd · 17/12/2010 09:00

hello all, i blame you all for my new purchase!they had it in boots store and I reserved over the phone. It really does work! I have very curly frizzy hair and it makes it shiny bouncy and slightly wavy which is how I try and do it with the hairdryer but never works!I used some heat defense cream from the salon first on semi dry hair and it was so quick to style, I think I will use instead of hairdryer whenever i feel the need or going out. Thanks to all of you-mumsnet is the best for weeding out the best products! and making me spend money!

berri · 17/12/2010 12:41

Got one too today - such a sucker! They'd sold out in Boots, Argos etc in Kingston but found them in Bentalls in case anyone else is looking for one!

crazybutterflylady · 17/12/2010 15:26

I've got one of these - early chritstmas present from hubby - and they are fab!! The only thing i'm slightly disappointed by is the inability to give oomph to the roots... does anyone know how to do this?? The barrel seems too big to be able to get right to the roots.
Other than that I agree with most of what has been said - my hair is really shiny and my bob (longer at front but no layers) is perfectly groomed and nothing is sticking out the wrong way Xmas Grin
By the way Boots has a voucher offer on at their machines - extra £3.50 worth of points when you spend £45 - useful when this is £44.99!!

MABS · 17/12/2010 15:58

got one yesterday, love it!!!

Celery · 17/12/2010 16:05

As with every other hair appliance I've ever bought, it just turns my hair into fly away static. I have crap hair. Any tips? I always use a styling mousse.

crazybutterflylady · 17/12/2010 16:09

Do you wash your hair every day celery?

nomorecake · 17/12/2010 16:09

£45 in argos now. and sold out. Angry

wanted to use my nectar points.

notasize10yetbutoneday · 17/12/2010 16:10

Celery- have you tried the frizzease serum by John Freida? this is good for flyaway hair. On offer in Morrissons at the mo as well if you have one.
