Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

Have a good weekend everyone

This'll be my first booze-free weekend for about 2 months but I'm sure I'll cope

LooptheLoop · 06/01/2006 18:28

At least I'm not alone !

NAAM - we'll check up on you on Monday morning - hee hee! I was meaning to go alcohol free from 1 January but somehow it hasn't quite worked out ...... Mind you I did get as far as looking at a web page for rowing machines (not sure how many calories moving the mouse used up!)

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hello

I did post a msg to you on the other thread, really nice to have you back.

NotActuallyAMum · 09/01/2006 12:10

Hello MsT we wondered where you were, glad you had a good one

Squirrel, after your weekend I think you need a laugh

Squirrel3 · 09/01/2006 12:15

ROFL!

thank you!

NotActuallyAMum · 09/01/2006 12:30

LOL Squirrel

I love smiley faces - got an office full of them, my office looks like this

NotActuallyAMum · 09/01/2006 13:09

Have to tell you all this....

Yesterday I took my nephew (13) to his football match. After the game we were walking across the field and I tripped over a net and fell over! I couldn't get up for laughing - and of course no-one helped!! We've had a lot of rain lately so you can imagine the state I was in

NotActuallyAMum · 09/01/2006 14:56

Me again

Just had a CAT from FANC - she's OK. Squirrel she asked me to let you know she tried to CAT you too but you're not set up to receive them

Squirrel3 · 09/01/2006 15:48

I've checked my profile, I don't understand, I do allow people to CAT me. A few people have tried to CAT me recently but can't do it. I have sent an email to mumsnet to try to find out what is going on.

I'm glad she is ok, hopefully she can CAT me when is all sorted out.

Squirrel3 · 09/01/2006 16:40

OMG, its probably why Reflection hasn't got in touch either, I feel awful now there's me hasseling her to get in touch and she can't.

NotActuallyAMum · 09/01/2006 16:51

Didn't think of that Squirrel but I'm sure if she'd seen your thread she'd have posted on it tho

Let me know when it's working and I'll tell FANC, I've got her e-mail address. She asked me to let you know she was OK, she's still with her DP - still struggling a bit but she is OK

Squirrel3 · 09/01/2006 16:55

I'm glad she is ok, I had visions of her having the most awful, lonely Christmas.

I'll let you know when its sorted out so that you can email her and let her know.

Squirrel3 · 09/01/2006 17:38

I have just recieived an email back from the Mumsnet team and they say that it all seems ok, it might have been due to the Christmas name changes. Could you ask her to try again, make sure that the user name is correct ie Squirrel3 not Squirrel.

I hope it works. [fingers crossed emoticon]

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 09:00

Eeeeek!!! I've just booked my driving theory test!!!!!!

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 09:28

NAAM, just recieved a cat from FANC so its working now, I will email her later, got to go and have another driving lesson.

Talk later.

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 11:44

Where is everybody?

NotActuallyAMum · 10/01/2006 12:21

Boo

Glad you've heard from FANC Squirrel

So when's your theory test?

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 12:28

On ds's birthday! 20th Jan!

I suppose I should learn it now I have the test booked!

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 12:33

We do drive on the right in this country don't we?

NotActuallyAMum · 10/01/2006 12:44

LOL Squirrel

I'm sure you'll be fine. Have you booked your actual test yet or can't you do that till you've passed your theory?

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 13:26

No, haven't booked the driving test yet, you have to pass the theory test first. The roads will be safe for a little while longer!

I feel as if I am driving now, not learning to drive IYKWIM but I still hate it, I don't get so worked up though. I suppose its one of the things that hasn't come naturally to me, its hard because I usually learn things easily, but learning to drive has taken me sooooooo long!

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 13:27

P.S I did leave a msg on your other thread, how are things with your brother?

NotActuallyAMum · 10/01/2006 13:52

I'm sure it'll come to you - it's always said that you don't learn to drive until you've passed your test and I would agree with that

DB and SIL have got the social worker going round tonight, I'll let you know

Squirrel3 · 10/01/2006 14:07

I really hope that it all works out, those poor kids must be really messed up because of it all, I hope that your DB and SIL can mend their hearts and that they know that they are loved and wanted by them.
