Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

NomDePlume · 29/03/2005 13:35

Not sure I'm nutty, but I am a stepmum. 2 stepDss (11 & 12.11) who live with DH and I 60% of the time, and 1 bioDD (2.8)

squirrel3 · 29/03/2005 13:37

NomDePlume welcome, if your not nutty now you will be, just keep posting and reading this thread!!

squirrel3 · 29/03/2005 13:52

My padded cell is nice and clean now (I however have put on a stone!)

Just a little warning, if you live in Kent get off the roads now I've got a driving lesson!!!!!

littlerach · 29/03/2005 14:16

Feeling nutty today, raining and DD1 off preschool and DH away all week, so guess I can join!! Have 1 sd and 1 ss who has CP, they stay once a month and DH visits them once a month.

SadSam · 29/03/2005 14:41

Welcome NomDePlume and littlerach and Squirrel I hope your driving lesson went well!!! This thread is for all you nutty stepmums out there, whether you were nutty before you were a stepmum or you just became nutty by being a stepmum and putting up with BMs.

Please feel free to talk about how nutty you are, this is a no holes barred thread xxx

Well. I think I quailfy...was sane now nutty. Two step kids SS 15 and SD 12. What do we do in this club.....?

NomDePlume · 29/03/2005 15:00

BM was a total nightmare, but since remarrying she has really calmed down a lot, she is a much better parent than she was previously so I don;t really have that much to complain about BM-wise. If you'd have asked me that this time 18 months ago, I'd have been venting my spleen like a good un !

SadSam · 29/03/2005 15:00

Welcome Reflection - Ermm Im not sure really, Squirrel and I set it up today because we decided that we were both a bit loopy and thought it would be a nice idea to see if there were any other loopy stepmums out there who would like a bit of light relief during difficult stepmum times. Any suggestions would be gratefully received....... perhaps jokes, games etc I dont know......... any ideas anyone???

OP posts:
SadSam · 29/03/2005 15:03

Lol @ NomDePlume - Im glad that you are sorted with BM, you are one of the very fortunate ones. However, one can still be classed as nutty if you think you are!!! I am, Im totally loopy and proud of it lol - Seriously though just thought it would be nice to get a bit of light relief for stepmums on here that are going through hell, thought we'd do a bit of neighbourly cheering up

You know this is fab...I bit of madness is always theraputic. I have proudly CUT all contact with BM and all is going swimmingly. If I hum really load then it all seems so much better....Christ I'm suppost to be working and here I am getting all excited about being in this great club....Badges thats what we need.

squirrel3 · 29/03/2005 15:12

Hello welcome reflection and littlerach, I'm back now so the roads are safe! The instructors? car only has two new dents...... Ok, it needs a new wing mirror but....

We need jokes and light relief, any contributions gratefully received.

This nutty step-mums club should be fun!!!

reflection · 29/03/2005 15:13

LOUD that's what I ment....new mantra...must read preview (these grin things are great)

reflection · 29/03/2005 15:15

My first ever driving lesson and I dented the drivers door and wing plus I lost the wing mirror to some very greedy lorry....I'm not joking it was traumatic. But I am now a very safe driver (honest)

tarantula · 29/03/2005 15:19

Want big FLASHING badges with NSM on them which we can wear all the time and not tell anyone what they mean and need a password and a secret handshake and secret sign ........ Have I been reading too many kids books?????

reflection · 29/03/2005 15:25

No, no, this is going to be the start of something BIG. Flashing, great idea. Oh..things are going hazey, yes that's it I have a vision....NSM RIDS THE WORLD OF NASTY MEAN BM'S AND LEAVES ONLY NICE FLUFFY ONES THAT LOVE AND APPRECIATE ALL THOSE NOT SO WICKED STEPMUMS. Right now we need outside knickers like all good super-heroes. La la la shiney happy people.
