Nutty Stepmum's Club (NSC) - Who Wants To Join Us?

Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

DP could clean the room but...

A bit of an up-date here DSS1 has lost his job (due to drug/mental health problems) so DP has given him a job with him. It means that DP can keep an eye on him etc. Also DSS1 knows (and has said to friends) that there will be no mucking about now he's working with his dad.

DSS1 had to take the job because his mum said that she would not have him staying there if he wasn't working and DP said likewise. DSS1 origionally said "well stuff you all, I'll stay with my mates", but he soon realised that it wasn't a good thing and he needed the support of his family and came crawling back, asking for help, so DP offered him a job. He started work for him yesterday and (going back to my point about the room) he will be coming home with DP, so the room needs to be ready before then...

Actually, that's not a good reason for DP not doing the room, don't know why I'm doing it really, must be the maddness!!!!

Hello NAAM and Squirrel. How are you both? Squirrel I do agree with NAAM, considering you are ill at the moment, DP could have dont DSS's room! But then again I hear what you say and to be honest, I do exactly the same so I should practice what I preach! lol

How are things with you?

Im not too bad thanks NAAM, good days and bad days you know how it is, but I guess that is par for the course eh lol! Went out and bought the 2 youngest stepkids their Christmas presents on Saturday, otherwise they will soon start asking for things they want (all the expensive presents thanks to their mum) and that way we can say we already have their pressies! I cant believe it is only just over 2 months until Christmas!!!! - Stress time!!!! Lol

FANC, Sssshhhh! about Christmas, I always leave everything until the last minute .

Maybe we should all get space-hoppers like NAAM for our S.kids, they will think we are all mad but we could borrow them, have a Nutty Step-mums race all dressed up as our names on here, you can be a big bar of choc, me, the obvious, Reflection could come as a mirror, Surfermum as a computer etc. Think tarantula would have an unfair advantage with all of those legs though.

Don't know what NAAM could dress up as... Any ideas?

You are suposed to work to live, not, live to work, how do you manage? I could not work long hours like that.

Hello NAAM, know what you mean, it does feel like a Friday.

You have just reminded dp had invited friends over for dinner on Friday (yes, I know I'm still ill, but I should be ok for Fri), I have posted about it in the recipes section begging for advice, I'm really stressing out about it!!!

And talking of stress, think the volcano is going to irrupt again today, dp's truck has gone in for repairs, we are suposed to be having S.Kids tonight then taking them to school in the morning but we obviously can't with no transport, I just know there is going to be a huge irruption!!!!!!! You might even get to see the aftermath where you are!!

Morning Squirrel and NAAM. Squirrel I hate the long hours, but 8am - 6pm are my hours Looking for another job though so you never know!!!! God I sooooooooo wish it were Friday!

Squirrel, you can only do what you can do, if you dont have a vehicle then BM has to understand that. Unfortunately some BMs dont seem to be programmed like SMs, I think they were made with some parts of their brain missing, like logic, diplomacy, understanding, sensitivity and perception of the "real world". Apologies to any nice genuine BMs out there, I am only talking about the ones we have experience of!

I'm getting better, actually I am looking forward to Friday myself, I was stressing out about a 'domestic goddess' coming for dinner Friday evening but 'hey ho' if my cooking all goes wrong we can always order a curry!!! We can't all be domsetic goddesses can we?

Or, maybe I can divert attention away from the bad cooking by organising a space-hopper race!
