Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

Hello Sam, how are you?

Did you know that if you do a google search and put in Nutty Step Mums Club (NSC) this thread comes up?

Yes, I know I'm sad, I was bored and I just thought I'd try it.

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 14:28

BTW Nutty Step Mums Club brings up our quiz night!!!!!

tarantula · 10/06/2005 14:34

Greetings all Hows life? Looking forward to the weekend?

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 14:39

Hello Tarantula, Yes I'm looking forward to the weekend no step children tonight, DS is going out (he is enjoying his new found freedom driving his car!) so hopefully DP and I can have some quality time alone IYKWIM

What do you bet that DD will go into labour tonight?

tarantula · 10/06/2005 14:44

lol Squirrel thatd just be typical wouldnt it. Whens she due? Hows she getting on? this weather cant be doing her much good. Is it hot where you are? Its roasting here.
Heres hoping you get your quality time tho. I could do with some of that too.

Weve got dss thsi weekend but arent planning to do anythign as we are broke. Still trying to get things sorted with CSA as they are trying to screw 2.5 grand out of us that we dont owe them. Bds!!! Anyway apart from that it should be nice. Might even go for a picnic if the weather holds.

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 14:52

2.5 grand!!!!! What the????? Hope it gets sorted quickly!

It has been hot but she's been in and out of the swimming pool to cool down so its not to bad for her, the main problem she is having is the pain she is getting in her spine and hips because of her 'disabilities', also she is very short so her bump looks huge!! Well its a normal sized bump but on someone so small it looks massive, like she's going to topple over (which she quite frequently does but for different reasons)

There was a mix up with her dates but the midwife examined her and said any time now, the head is right down into the pelvis, its just a waiting game now. I can't even get her to run around the block to get things started lol

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 14:55

Oh and yes, I hope the weather holds for you and because we are having a party on Sunday for DP's brother, he is emigrating to America Wednesday!

tarantula · 10/06/2005 15:25

lol CSA sort anything quickly?????? Not a chance. This has been going on for a year. Got a letter today from a guy asking us to phone him direct. Cant believe it as it says on dps file that he will not deal with them by phone as they always deny that the conversation took place. Obviously didnt bother to read the file at all.

Anyway enough of that. Are you allexcited to be a granny then? Do hope everything goes ok withthe birth. Youll have to let us know how things go. Party sounds good. I havent seen the weather forcast for the weekend.

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 15:31

lol I gather that the CSA dealing with things quickly is about as likely as BM being reasonable then?!?!! I've not had to deal with them thankfully.

Yep, I'm looking forward to becoming a granny again, DD as already got a little boy who is the apple of my eye (thats an old fashioned saying isn't it?) this one is a girl, which is nice, one of each then she says no more!!!!!!!!!!

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 15:36

Getting a bit worried about he party though, been speaking to DP and it was suposed to be just a family 'do' but his brother is inviting everyone now!!

We were going to just have a family and a few close friends with a Barbi-Q and drink....

Its getting out of hand!!!! How are we going to afford food for 50plus people??????? AAAAAAAAAARGH!

tarantula · 10/06/2005 15:42

The CSA are awful They are trying to claim that we didnt notify them when dp was made redundant. We sent tehm 3 letters ad they are saying they never got them.....Obv PO in Portsmouth must loose alot of letters eh. They also used to ring dp up at work and harrass him which is illegal so we told them no phone contact and now they want us to ring them. Theyre having a laugh. we have told them that we want the assessment backdated to the time dp was made redundant. they are saying taht they can only do it from the time they were told about the change ie when he emailed them in Nov asking why they hadnt replied to his letters. Funnily enough years ago when dp first got his job and it took they a year to sort how much he should pay they backdated that to the time he got the job. GRRRRRRRRRR. Theyd are tossers. And its not like dss is actually going to see any of the money anyway.

tarantula · 10/06/2005 15:44

Opps sorry about the rant but needed to get it out. ~sigh~ Party does sound like its gettign out of hand. Aare you ahving it round yours? If so tell them all its a bring your own party and jsut provide food for thefamily Theres no way you can feed 50 or so people

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 16:01

Do you feel better for that rant tarantula?
Can I come out from behind the sofa now? lol

I think a bring your own party is a good idea, the party is going to be at DP's parents house (because its huge, it has a huge Barbi-Q and it has swimming pool etc) We are taking our big gas Barbi so that the veggie's can have their own with out any chance of 'contamination' from our meat.

Oh no, I'm 'flapping' already!

tarantula · 10/06/2005 16:11

Sorry got a bit wound up there. Im ok now Deep breath Gradually shrinks back to proper size and colour. cant do much about the torn clothes tho.

thats a good idea having two barbies as well. sounds like itll be quite a party.

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 16:17

Well its not everyday your bro emigrates is it?

Dp's sister already lives out there, his parents spend alot of time out there too. We have had strict instuctions that we have to visit in the next year (0k if you've got the money for flights etc, also DP is self employed so if he doesn't work, he doesn't get paid!!) it would be nice though, I wouldn't mind going to Florida for a couple of weeks.

tarantula · 10/06/2005 16:27

a couple of weeks in Florida sounds like bliss. At this rate youll be out there joining them all in a few years . Whats the policy on Squirrels going abroad tho??? Its definitely got to be a party to remember hasnt it. can see you and all the other squirrel hopping round nibbling nuts and drinking champagne and chattering, bushy tails waving in the air.

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 16:28

PMSL

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 16:30

I can try to fly there myself lol

tarantula · 10/06/2005 16:43

ooooooh I didnt know you were one of those posh flying squirrels. Wow and here was me imagining you were one of our own wee reds. Well shows how wrong we can be whend we imagine what someone looks like that we are chatting to on the net

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 16:45

I'm a very posh squirrel, only the best champers for me you know! hic

Squirrel3 · 10/06/2005 16:48
