Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

Musician DS's attempt to say Happy Birthday!

tarantula · 05/06/2005 22:46

Oh dear Squirrrel dont sound like you had too good a birthday. Hope the rest of the weekend wasnt as bad and you managed to get some sleep . Ill raise my glass of beer to you now and its a real glass this time.

squirrel3 · 06/06/2005 12:45

I did have a nice birthday really, it did get better, I decided that i wouldn't go to the football , I stayed at home listening to my new Norah Jones CD and relaxed for a little while, then visited my Grandad (who was really pleased to see me). After that all we went out for a meal, (it was a bit early but I think I would've fallen asleep in my starter if we had gone later, lol)

How's you today Tarantula?

squirrel3 · 06/06/2005 12:47

And guess what I passed another exam today!

tarantula · 06/06/2005 13:24

Hi Squirrel Glad to hear that your birthday wasnt a complete washout and that you got to see your Grandad How is he? Sounds like he is getting a bit better which is good. Was the dinner out nice? Sounds good from here .

squirrel3 · 06/06/2005 13:31

Sadly, Grandad is not getting any better the MRSA has got into his back as well now, also he just looks worn out, you know, its like his body has just worn out and to even speak takes so much effort, its really hard, I think he needs to go now (as much as I don't want him to)

oooops crying into my computer now.....

Sorry, got to pull myself together.....

tarantula · 06/06/2005 13:37

Oh Squirrel Im so sorry to hear that. My Grandad ws like that after Granny died. He carried on for a while and then just declined. In the end it was best for him to go and we all had to accept that hard tho it was. He was a wonderful man and it was very hard to see him so weak and confusedI know that nothing I can saycan help but if you ever need a chat during the day Im generally around to listen .
Congrats on te exam too thats fantastic Really pleased to hear it.

squirrel3 · 06/06/2005 13:43
