I saw this on another forum and it was brilliant, so I decided to blatantly steal it. Some was hilarious, some was brutal but all a great vent no judgement
What would you love to say to your step kids but cant in real life??
I would say to SS7, when you get caught out in a lie, laughing and saying I was joking doesn't make it cute, its still a lie.

Is it privste?
Surely if it's LA then he can't stay there as a single man?
Or speak to shelter about how you can go about renting your own place and what benefits you would be entitled to.
This is no life for you or the kids.
When I booted out my cheating lazy wanker of a h I felt as if I was on holiday every day.

I have some things that I think of saying to DSS, teen, never would. Along the usual lines of him telling lies and being totally reliant on his DF to do everything for him.

I know that my DH has things he would say to my kids. 'Leave home and get a job' I am sure is on his lips often, when faced with my lazy entitled teen.

I does not make you a bad step parent to think these things. It is not saying them that is important, knowing when to let the parent deal with it or not.
