But ss may make BM see a mediator. It would be so much better for sdd if all of this was sorted out with her Mum and Nan, she doesn't have to go back to live there, just have contact with her.

I'm sure if you explain that everything else dsd has told her is totally confidential but the other kids welfare has to be taken into account I'm sure she will be ok about it, it may take her some time to calm down though.

Not telling!

These legs get stuck in your teeth you know!

Yes that's true, they may well tell her she sees a mediator or they take it further which would be a good thing IMO. atm she thinks absolutely everything is our fault, which of course isn't true. I'm not saying we're perfect, far from it lol, but we can't be blamed for everything - specially not this when it's come from dsd seeing a counsellor. Time will tell....

I need a virtual drink!

Squirrel3 · 21/06/2006 16:32

Whats your tipple then?

Hi to you. Weding presents??? Buy a Donkey. (Oxfam)

Just been reading your posts.

Squirrel if he does f**k up again then I think he must be left to face the concequences of his actions and stand on his own two feet. Time to see the real world and how it works if you don't work at it. Good luck its hard but fingers crossed he just slipped up.

Hi NAAM

NotActuallyAMum · 21/06/2006 16:35

Squirrel3 · 21/06/2006 16:37

Hi reflection, that is exactly how I feel, I'm sure dp feels the same too but its hard to turn your back on your child, even though he is an adult and has chosen drugs over everything else.

Lets hope that it was just a hic-cup.

OP posts:
Squirrel3 · 21/06/2006 16:39

This is strong.

OP posts:
reflection · 21/06/2006 16:41

Yep. It must be very hard. I feel for any family that has to cope with the effects of drug/alcohol in their family.

P.S I reckon I could get I liking for Champers

NotActuallyAMum · 21/06/2006 16:41

That'll do nicely

Squirrel3 · 21/06/2006 16:43

Ladys I need you help. When the house finally sells and my brain has got over the schock I do believe that I myself will be back on the market. So, to ensure that I am successful on my quest I need to make a list. What makes a good man? Seeing as I have proven rather crap in judging formyself I thought a definative guide needs to be drawn up!! And who better to guide me than the nutty people.

  1. Sexy Bum

When I was single I did actually do a list in my head of things I wanted and didn't want from a man/relationship - nothing heavy, just things that were/are important to me
