I guess I will keep on applying for every job I see. Trouble is, nearly every company in the town where I live has got a copy of my CV atm, I'm running out of companies to apply to. lol

I is here I's been working. Dont all faint at once please. Just got invovled in a very complicated SQL query/Crystal report which was really interesting and very frustrating. All sorted now tho.

Glad you got the query thingy (it all went over my head a bit) sorted out though.

Don't know if I will take the job, the shifts are crap they are: - Mon 9am-3pm - Tues 5pm-9pm - Weds 4pm-9pm - Thurs 3pm-9pm - Fri 9am-5pm.

On the plus side I wont get to see much of dp!!

I do actually do some work, honest

But because my main job - though I do others - is operating the switchboard I can do that and this at the same time. And believe me the switchboard is very busy, get 2 or 3 calls every minute, I can't even go to the loo without telling someone!!

I applied for a job as a telephonist, got a rejection letter the other day. Why couldn't I be a telephonist? I could be a telephonist, I'd be a very good telephonist, I could do it and MN all day like you Naam.

Had a go at DP earlier, doesn't happen very often, but he was at work last night and he set his alarm for 9 this morning to go and fetch his dd from her nan's in Yorkshire! I was bloody furious - he just can't see why he shouldn't be making a 5.5 hour round trip on 3 hours sleep!! MEN, GRRRR!! Sorry, rant over

We're having a night out from work tonight, first one this year. Not having too much to drink though because I have to be up at 5:30 tomorrow - we're going to join my brother and the kids at his caravan for the night [excited emoticon] I LOVE the sea

Hense not being about much, but did get my arse in gear to do some work this morning so that I can go play. Might pop back later, hope the day goes quickly and you all get to enjoy the sun this evening and tomorrow x

Oh and NAAM too right about the sleep thing. Not surprised though because men are of course invinsible!! You should know that by now.

Squirrel, reading back to your posts from yesterday regarding trying on wedding dresses. Have you not seen the film Muriels Wedding? She always dreamed of getting married and used to go round to wedding dress shops giving some sob story that a relative was in hospital and wouldnt see her at the wedding etc. the shops then let her try on all the dresses and take photos of her for her "ill" relative. She did this in loads of shops and started a wedding album full of all the photos! Lol - Brilliant film!

NAAM I do hope that DP doesn't look at your dress, and I am sure it will look stunning on you. Just having fun looking at virtual bridesmaids dresses. Can you tell me how to do a link please? Lol

No he didn't look at the dress, although I left it on the bed - temporarily - we were in dsd's room and the phone rang. He went towards our bedroom door to get the phone and I shouted "DON'T GO IN THERE!!" He jumped out of his skin The dress is gorgeous, can't believe I paid so little for it. I have seriously got to lose some weight next year though....
