I live on the Kent border I suppose you could call it.
Glad you said nice things about the buses Alligator Grin, I normally have to defend their good points.

Squirrel3 · 25/05/2006 14:03

If I lived near Reflection I would throw a huge party for her, with lots of \link{http://www.skill.org.uk/thebig30/images/cake.gif\this} and \link{http://www.wsj.consumerreports.org/images/0411win001.jpg\this} and \link{http://www.worldcommunitycookbook.org/season/guide/photos/strawberries.jpg\these} and \link{http://blogs.warwick.ac.uk/images/jessicabooth/2005/02/12/chocolate.jpg\these} and I would give her a huge bunch of \link{http://www.smartgiftsolutions.co.uk/images/thumbs/Simplicity_th.jpg\these}. alligator · 25/05/2006 14:27

London buses ROCK MN2. Buses every 15 mins or so!!! and you are able to get prams onto them and they are cheap(ish tho getting a damn sight more expensive now). Once you go past the London boundry it all goes to pot and the public transport is shite. Round where dss lives the buses are jsut laughable.

alligator · 25/05/2006 14:32

Didnt realise it was your b'day today reflection HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!

alligator · 25/05/2006 14:34

I'd ahve bought you a pressie like \link{http://www.crunchymail.com/card.asp?card=sheepstapler2&bgcolor=CCFFFF\this} if I'd known Grin

mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 14:35

Agreed. Outside of London you have to take out a small mortgage to get on a bus Grin Wink. And take a step ladder with you to get on them. Suppose I'm even luckier than most, I haven't had to pay on the buses for 8 years. Smile. Although train fare into London is horrendous!

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 14:40

ACT! Software is the world's best selling contact manager with over 4 million users world wide. ACT! mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 16:45

15 days! Is that all. Blimey where has the time gone from the end of the season?

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms from the normal footie season. Roll on August.

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 16:47

No problem, happy to help Smile

I want to go home now! It's still gorgeous here, and DP is waiting for me on the patio with a nice cold beer Grin dsd is going to her nan and grandad's (BMs parents) for dinner tonight, they're moving to North Yorkshire at the weekend, she's spending next week with them - which gives us some time on our own but it also means I'll spend my bank holiday on the motorway!! It's a 5 hour round trip from here, DP is fetching her back next Friday. I'm sure dsd thinks she'll be going quite often but with that kind of journey we just can't do it. Have to break it to her gently....

alligator · 25/05/2006 16:50

Squirrel If you can do access then ANYTHING else must be a piece of piss AFAIC. But then I hate Access so maybe I'm biased Grin. I then dont really use any software I jsut support it and panic when it goes wrong Grin

mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 16:56

Got to go and pick dsd's from bm. they go there for tea on Tues and Thurs. Have a nice evening everyone. Enjoy the cold beer Naam. Envy
