Ooohhh so you've got just over 2 hours of being 20 something Grin

Have you got anything planned? Bet you have to go to work!! I think everyone should get their birthday off Grin

reflection · 24/05/2006 22:02

Oh sadly yes. My names Reflection and I have to work...Sad

Fear not. I will be feathered and fancy at a rather nice resturant in town with a selection of rather insane but funny friends Grin

As you can tell I don't keep quiet so one advantage of going to work is that I might get a card.

Always look on the bright side of life...dedo dedo..LA LA LA

reflection · 24/05/2006 22:03

Thinking about getting a gerbil..?

reflection · 24/05/2006 22:04

Anyone know anything about gerbils?

NotActuallyAMum · 24/05/2006 22:10

I'm sure you'll get lots of cards, in fact if you work with anyone like me you'll arrive to find banners and balloons up Grin

Don't know anything about gerbils. We used to have a hamster though which I'd definitely advise against - it used to sleep all day then run around in it's wheel all night, the noise was horrendous!

reflection · 24/05/2006 22:17

You can come work with me Grin

Going to go sleep now. Sweet dreams to you. Smile

NotActuallyAMum · 24/05/2006 22:21

Yes me too, up at 6:45....

Night all Smile

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 09:23

Reflection's sun dance has worked! Shock It's gorgeous here!! Going to rain again later though apparantly

How is everyone?

mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 10:20

Well it hasn't rained here yet.. but the clouds look very menacing. But it's no where near as cold as yesterday.

Squirrel3 · 25/05/2006 10:32

Sorry, but it is cold and grey here. Sad

It might be that I couldn't find my big pants of power and decided to borrow dp's...

Maybe I didn't dance for long enough, well the men in white coats came, I think the neigbours phoned them when they \link{http://www.kent.ac.uk/medical/knowledge/images/illu/alcohol/panthead.gif\saw} me. Grin

Squirrel3 · 25/05/2006 11:14

Naam, I am revising my computer skills like mad today to make sure I am ready for the interview tomorrow, practicing setting-up Data-bases, queries, forms, reports etc, haven't done it for ages, next, its refreshing my knowledge of PowerPoint, the dreaded Excel, I hate Excel with avengence!!!!! Don’t ask me why, I just hate it!!!!!

OP posts:
mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 11:38

Well it still hasn't rained here, and I can still see the old Post Office tower from where I work. I always see that as a good sign! Wink It was obscured by the rain and mist for most of yesterday. Sad

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 11:48

Oohh Squirrel, I don't envy you. I've never really got my head round Excel - I do use it for a few things but not lots

Still no rain yet, quite nice again. Hope it stays that way so DP can do some work in the garden this afternoon Grin

mummyno2 if you can see the old Post Office tower you're in London then?

mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 11:52

I can manage Excel, it's mainly been self taught and making lots of mistakes along the way. Its Word that annoys me when it changes fonts and numbering for no apparent reason Angry

Yes Naam I am in London. Where is everyone else based?

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 12:21

lol mummyno2 Grin I'm self taught on everything to do with computers - never had any training at all so I make lots of mistakes along the way too!!

I'm in the Midlands - South Derbyshire to be precise. Naff all to do round here, but I suppose everyone says that about where they live Grin

alligator · 25/05/2006 12:39

Hello

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 12:44

Hello alligator Smile

Hope you're having a better day today and you're boss is not getting on your nerves Grin

alligator · 25/05/2006 12:49

Hes been quite quiet today and bought us all coffee this morning so I guess all is forgiven Grin

mummyno2 · 25/05/2006 12:55

Hi alligator. I work in Central London but live in the South East London. And whoopee still no rain.

alligator · 25/05/2006 13:11

I live on the very outskirts of SW London (cheaper houses but stil got decentish buses Grin) and work near Kensington.

(My knowledge of british geog is sadly lacking. Mind you the 'by' means it has to be somewhere 'up North' that much I do know Grin)

reflection · 25/05/2006 13:28

It is sunny!!

And a bit cloudy if I'm honest.

I am down here on the south Coast ish in Winchester. Hello all up there!!

alligator · 25/05/2006 13:41

I love it down that way Reflection. I'd love to live somewhere down there. Have to learn to drive though if I did and get a car.

NotActuallyAMum · 25/05/2006 13:47

Hello reflection, hope you're having a nice birthday Smile I love it down your neck of the woods too, beautiful part of the Country

alligator lol at your lack of knowledge of British geography Grin I'm pretty much right in the middle of the Country, as far far from the sea as you can get Sad I love the sea....

Squirrel3 · 25/05/2006 13:52

Hello everyone, been revising away and missing out on all the fun.

I live in Kent BTW, and I would love to live near reflection too!

Dd turned up and I amused dgs with a little PowerPoint presentation I did just for him (whilst refreshing my memory on how to do the blooming things), made it as 'silly' as I could and he laughed his head off!

Alligator, glad your boss is better today, I would love to sort out your database for you but I've got to try Excel now.....Grrrrr, bloomimg Excel.....Sasa ratsa, sasa ratsa.......Grrrrrrrr!

I really would quite like this job tomorrow, got another interview 6th June (not so sure about that one though).
