@TheNewGaard URGH - that's just obscene. I wonder which Prem clubs will be the first to petition the Premier League to be allowed to do the same? Our American owners have made mutterings in the past about how grand it would be to have a match in the US 🤬🤢🤮 (puking emojis were entered here, in case they don't show up!) That would go down like a bucket of cold sick with local fans, but certain other Prem owners would be right in there grubbing for the lucre with them, so I very much fear it could be made to happen.

There's plenty of American owners now (including ours), so I think there would be a lot of takers at board level.

Well, if they want to pay for flights and accommodation for all season ticket holders, maybe they could get away with it...

I've just remembered that AC Milan and Como have been trying to get their Serie A match in February moved to Perth, Australia - hasn't been sanctioned yet by FIFA, UEFA or the relevant Aus and Asian federations.

@TheNewGaard Good point re season ticket holders - how are Villarreal and AC Milan proposing to deal with that issue, I wonder?

There was a long article in the newspaper about it today which I didn't completely understand, but it implied that even UEFA think that what they have done is unfair.

So it looks like Isak really wants to go to Liverpool...
