I'm so thrilled for Palace that the luck went their way today, though - it means SO much to their fans (including my husband!)!

Brilliant Palace! I feel quite emotional. In solidarity with their fans who have finally won something!

Yes it is so lovely to see how much it means to the fans (and as I said Newcastle and Bologna in Italy and the German cup looks good as well) rather than the same people winning it and it not meaning as much

Pleased especially for Eberechi Eze, released or not kept on by four clubs in his youth but still continued with football.

Yes, the perfect year for it as you have nothing to play for and so the atmosphere will be amazing.

That was a lovely send off, a celebration of Goodison Park and a win to wrap it up.
