Lovely!

Thanks for the new thread

Well, Man U played well in the second half. And it takes a lot for me (LFC supporter for 50+ years) to say that. But there is no getting away from it.

But Arsenal without Saka is a different beast to Arsenal with him.

MiltonRoad · 12/01/2025 19:04

We won (feels faint) 😂😇

JasonTindallsTan · 12/01/2025 19:30

Newcastle safely through, had a little grin at Bromley scoring the first goal, what a moment for their fans, they went wild. Really chuffed for Osula getting his first goal he was SO happy. His family were sat up behind us so he celebrated in our corner, his little face was a picture. Great goal for him and for Lewis Miley, Miley is going to be a heck of a player.

Happy with Birmingham away in the next round. Won’t be an easy game but we should get through.

Oblomov25 · 12/01/2025 19:40

Thank you kindly @DuncinToffee Op!

Hellohah · 12/01/2025 19:46

On my way back to Manchester obviously very happy.

I have to say if every player had the mentality of Harry Maguire, the game would be much better. He's been ridiculed, dropped, demoted from captain and he's not once given up, he's not once complained, he's fought for his right to play football and conducted himself with a professionalism that should be applauded. He was immense today.

Cuwins · 12/01/2025 20:11

Really... Chelsea in the next round 🤦‍♀️
Not only that but we will be playing them twice in 6 days now. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

Hellohah · 14/01/2025 11:20

Charges for PSR to be released today, but BBC reporting no charges, all PL clubs compliant 👍

DuncinToffee · 14/01/2025 11:50

Good to hear, just shows what a farce PSR and the EPL are

"English" week in the Bundesliga this week. That means, unusually for Germany (except for cup matches) midweek games on Tuesday & Wednesday. Gladbach away to Wolfsburg - which means I need to find somewhere to be while DH watches it in TV

Sure you'll be happy for one of those if not both given our blippy blip
..just find it bit boring when falls like that. Oh you again.. and again 🤣

Brefugee · 14/01/2025 22:25

bloody Norah, Gladbach. Gutless and useless. Lost 5-1 to Wolfburg.

Tarkan · 14/01/2025 22:48

A win for West Ham! Was close to being a draw at one point though. Phew!

At last the BBC has chosen likeable people. Very happy but it took far too long.

Oblomov25 · 15/01/2025 20:38

Watching Arsenal v Spurs.

Tarkan · 15/01/2025 20:44

Got Rangers v Aberdeen on here. Enjoying the score so far.

MaybeNotBob · 15/01/2025 22:08

That Bergvall's a nasty piece of work...

I could have sworn it was announced about a month ago 🤷🏼‍♀️

Routine win at St James’ tonight. Alexander Isak is a goal scoring machine 🙌🏻🙌🏻

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2025 23:12

We could dow with someone who scores goals, DCL missing too many chances.

No new manager bounce but we did look a bit better and should have had a penalty.

I captained Isak in FPL

OP posts:
MaybeNotBob · 15/01/2025 23:18

I tried putting my FPL Captain curse on Salah, but it didn't work, so I've put it back on Haaland...

DuncinToffee · 15/01/2025 23:21

I got rid of Haaland a while back and no red shite players in my team 😂

I need to replace Jesus now

OP posts:
MrsMitford3 · 16/01/2025 08:20

Gutted for Jesus-seems particularly awful as he had just found his form. I can't help rooting for him but sadly I suspect he won't play again for us.

Loved Declan Rice's post match interview where he said it felt like we could have scored 10. Maybe if we had a striker????

And am really really behind Havertz. Was so hoping for a goal for him.
His wife has been on the receiving end of unbelievably vile posts on twitter after the ManU game. I hope the police investigate and there are repercussions. I am not a fan of "hurty words" being a crime but this was beyond.
Saying they hoped she had a miscarriage and threatening to kill her baby etc.

And isn't Myles Lewis Skelly a bloody gem??
