Well, they've announced the calendar so we can have a thread now Grin

2015 races

Live on the beeb

Congrats Jenson and Jessica!

Will Lewis and Nico snipe at each other all season? Will little Verstappen (must stop calling him Jos jr) impress in his first race? Will Ferrari and McLaren improve or still be a bit shit? Can't wait for Melbourne!

Oh dear, this is a bloody terrible idea. Anyone want to have a guess at how high Maldonado is going to fly? I'll say 8ft.

Crazy. Is it just to up the interest in the sport? Crashes are only fun when you can be reasonably sure the driver isn't injured. A flying car doesn't give that surety.

I have no idea, but I've seen so many cars launched into the air by sausage kerbs. Putting them at the top of Eau Rouge is going to get someone killed.

Blimey, the Eau Rouge is a dangerous corner at the best of times! What are they thinking!?

That is sad news. I love the German Grand Prix.

It is sad news, though I am (as ever) hopeful of a resolution before it's due to take place. I seem to remember a situation a few years ago where it looked like the British GP would not go ahead, but it did in the end.

Gutted about the German GP, there have been so many good races at Nurburgring and Hockenheim. Wasn't Hockenheim ace before Tilke ruined it?

I don't normally like Lewis, but I thought this was quite sweet.

Good news :) He was having some tests in Cambridge on Sunday, if I'd have known in advance I could have gone and stalked him. Bottas has said he'll be fit too although I think he still has to pass the medical.

He actually blinked, maybe he is human after all Grin

Maybe he thinks if he's bad enough at all the promotional stuff then they'll stop asking him to do it.

Awww, he cracks me up, he's Kimi.
I am aware I am very biased.

Heh. Good old Kimi.

Pleased about Alonso. Hope Bottas can race too.

I've got a sporting clash this weekend. It's the cricket world cup final on Sunday morning and NZ is one of the teams. What to do?!

Well that was a cracker Grin DS vvvv pleased with Vettel win. I'm just happy someone is keeping the Mercs honest.
Still sad face for McLaren I thought JB might get a nose bleed up in the points Wink
Moto GP starts tonight too Smile

Yeah, it was a good one. Some really brilliant overtakes (and some fairly rubbish ones). Never thought I'd be cheering on Vettel but it's great to see Ferrari back on the top step.

JB really made me laugh with his comment about catching the other cars Grin

Grin to that link Eau.

Agree, that it seemed odd wanting Vettel to win but it would be so much more fun to have a fight.

And Verstappen (sp?) - that move on Grin was pretty cool.

Saw JB facial hair and my DH took the words right out of my mouth with a WTF.
I too was silently cheering on Seb this morning, to be fair I always was a fan. I am from Lewis' home county and do support him and I understand his desire to win can make him seem like a moody teenager but when he 'acts cool' with his gold chains, earrings and gangsta rap speak I do shudder. He was on radio 2 not long ago (or maybe it was radio 1) and I was cringing, he should just let his driving do the talking.
All I want from this year is a competitive championship and if that is adding Seb to the mix and maybe Felipe or Kimi too so much the better.
I love Kimi's one liners.
