Dd verucca

Dd 10 has had a massive verruca under her big toe for over 3 years. GP said it would go of its own accord... it hasn't gone.
A few weeks ago she said it was hurting when she walked so I have decided to wage war on it.
So far we have tried soaking, filing and covering with a plaster, then soaking, filing and covering with duct tape for more than a fortnight but it made no difference.
Next weapon... Bazuka.
After 3 days, it look absolutely hideous....

I have had a verruca years on the sole of my foot.

It's almost more like hard skin at the moment. But having had some top level sporner magic with my DDs recent verruca (ACV - the thing went black and pushed itself out!) I'm wanting to try and do the same to mine.

But I can barely see any little black bits in it. Really is like a hard lump of dry skin.

Do you recon I ought to just file it the best I can and start with the vinegar anyway?

Currently in the car so can't photo. But can provide a "before" shot later. Grin

@MrsWP are you sure it's a verruca and not a corn? I thought I had a verruca and think it was at one point but it seemed to go and left a corn in its place

So here's a a photo of it on my foot. And a bit more of a close up.

The black bits are what make me say verruca....

Any opinions @fireplaceburning - or anyone else?

How should I attack it?

My DD is 6 going in 16. She absolutely refuses to let me near it unless I'm putting that Bazucca stuff on.

@ScrumptiousBears will she have a go at it herself with directions from you? My dd is a bit older and quite squeamish but we have bonded over her verucca and I think she is now a minisporner. The turning point was making our tiktok 🤣🤣

I've filed it today again (using one of the electronic things) and have put a corn pad round it to hopefully prevent hardening up over the day.

Will file again after next bath/shower and then start with the ACV overnight.

Here's hoping it's as awesome as DDs was!

Well this is what Ds verruca looks like as of this evening. It peeled again, feels like we are getting somewhere now but I dare not speak too soon!

This is what DS looks like today. It's very messy looking and I can see a brown dot in the middle too which may suggest the war is not won yet

Those filing remember you have to dispose of the filing tool each time, you can't reuse it so I recommend buying Emery boards and snipping them into small pieces

So I've been filing and wearing corn pads to try and stop it being pushed flat for a few days.

Today I am trying out the nail varnish technique. Will give it a week of daily painting I think.

On the plus side with the red varnish on it looks DISGUSTING! 😂 Like an alien.

I have name changed especially for this thread. I may post pictures.
I have an old (5yrs +) and huge (about an inch across?) verruca on my heel. It continues to sprout little ones round the edge, and has recently branched out to a wart on top of my big toe. And I’ve had it, frankly.

I have tried ignoring, wishing, freezing, thuja, wartner, bazooka, briefly banana skin, but couldn’t eat enough bananas. Also leaving & just trimming down weekly so I can walk. Not in that order.
I was quite hopeful for the wartner, the top peeled off beautifully, but then it got bigger.

I’m about to start duct tape on the 6 days on, one day off method.

Todaymostlyihaveaverruca my daughter had a stubborn one 2 years plus. Gluterol got rid of it when all elsd had failed.
