Dd verucca

Dd 10 has had a massive verruca under her big toe for over 3 years. GP said it would go of its own accord... it hasn't gone.
A few weeks ago she said it was hurting when she walked so I have decided to wage war on it.
So far we have tried soaking, filing and covering with a plaster, then soaking, filing and covering with duct tape for more than a fortnight but it made no difference.
Next weapon... Bazuka.
After 3 days, it look absolutely hideous....

Here’s my sons. It’s turned ‘stringy’ in the middle but the strings go really deep into the foot.

This has made my feet feel all funny!

A big lump has fallen out. I think if it hasn’t cleared up in a couple days I am going to have to see my GP about it.

I used to get them. The last one I got fed up and dug it out of my toe with nail scissors. Got right under it to the root and yanked the whole thing out.

Bled like anything, but never came back!

It might be my eyes but looks like you might have the start of two other verrucas on the right hand side of the one that’s dying off. Bazuka those bits as well!

Gross but you can clear out the dying one by scraping it out with tweezers as it looks like the big fella has fallen out of it! This battle is won 🙏🏻🤣

Big lump fell off today, I can only see 3 little black dots in the skin underneath! Sorry no pics tonight but will get one tomorrow...maybe we are both nearing the end now @YesIDoLoveCrisps

Well I got rid of DS in the end by filing and picking the roots esp black spot and then applying our tea tree oil it came away pretty quick . Tea tree oil is pretty amazing stuff but stinks !

@curlyLJ Just read your comment I got rid of DS I’m about a week using it too :-)

This evening it was peeling off so I filed it and put tea tree on. Before and after pics attached. However, it is still alive. I will continue with the tea tree and see how we get on with that. Saves buying anything new.

Apparently verruca popping is the thing to do, at this stage. Squeeze it from all sides to encourage the middle black core to come out.

My sons is shrinking. However there’s a root right in the middle of it that’s really deep and clinging on - but I applied more Bazuka

There seem to be more and more black bits again! When will this end??!!

@YesIDoLoveCrisps we thought dds was at an end when we did that tiktok of her pulling out what I thought were the roots 😭

Ooh this thread has been going for going for nearly a month, how have I not found it before? Just going to put a cuppa on to enjoy it. I’m only on the first page, good photos op.

My sons stepped on Lego because why wouldn’t he it’s left all over his room I think a corner of a red Lego brick has dislodged the final chunk.
