Hello,

NC - the letter I received dated 09/12 saying they got it on the 02/12 - is the 02/12 the SD?

Thank you

Yes, that would be your scan date!

£158.76 disabled child element and £201.68 for carers element if you dont already get it for another child. Make sure you also ask for it to be backdated to the day you was awarded. X

Thank you so much x

Thank you so much! Hopefully not much longer but after reading this thread, it seems there’s no way of guessing 🙈

Mum0 · 07/01/2026 22:05

Princessmom222 Do you know about the 201.68 if it is correct that if you have a separate carer for the child this isn’t paid to parent?

For those people doing renewals, we got word that ours has renewed this week. We sent the form back on 1st Oct, so it took 3 months this time as opposed to 6 weeks for the previous renewal in 2023.

When did yours end? Ours is due to end on 14/2 and still waiting on renewal.

Jade1018 · 08/01/2026 09:27

So just got off the phone and found out my son has been renewed HRC and HRM from MRC, he is 4 and has autism and I believed we would be going to do a MR for mobility so I am beyond shocked and overjoyed for him. They are backdating it to May

Boymamaxx · 08/01/2026 10:56

Just called this morning
NC form sent to me 29/10
SD 02/12 (Same date it was received under Royal Mail tracking)
MRC awarded yesterday for my just turned 4YO with potential ASD/ADHD & a back payment of £822 was processed yesterday and should land in bank within 3-5 days.

Really lovely lady on the phone and only 20 minute hold time! I did option 1-5-1-4 as I read some people are being told and some aren’t - guessing it depends who picks up the phone?

Can’t explain how happy we are for our Son and to be able to provide that extra support without as much stress. Good luck everyone, really hope the wait isn’t too much longer, I know we’ve been incredibly lucky (or I think so) with the times.

kittyfairy66 · 08/01/2026 11:07

Anyone July mr heard anything?

I just called band was told they're currently on May dates. I'm 1st July and not heard anything. When I queried the fact they say they're done in date order she said some claims can be expedited. I have seen on FB some people have had MRs done and they did theirs in August and November.

Lonnie1423 · 08/01/2026 12:08

Sw2190 yeh I have said the same and all you get is done in date order and then they get very rude

I only go through options 1-5-1-4 now, it’s quicker and they just seem so much friendlier and can actually disclose more information if you are wanting to know what you’ve been awarded

Vickymumof3 · 08/01/2026 12:30

Blujen · 07/01/2026 15:22

They definitely haven’t got a clue what they are doing. Deffo send over the birth certificate anyway. I sent my NC back on 24/12 and I know it got there because I sent it tracked but he said it’s not been scanned yet. Can I ask what date you sent yours back please ? I’m hoping mine gets scanned on soon and it’s not lost ! X

Edited

I originally sent the forms back on 30/12 sent them signed for. Then I received a text in 31/12 to say they had received the forms. Then received the letter yesterday 07/01 about my sons name not matching their records. I sent the birth certificate back yesterday 1st class signed for along with some extra evidence that I received. So now it’s just a waiting game 🙈

I think a lot of them are being done close to the end of current claim, ours for example was a week before the claim ended

OneSparklyGreyCat · 08/01/2026 12:51
