Years ago, don’t know if it same now each week they give a decision maker a load of claims. How fast yours come through depended on how fast the decision maker is. If they had time off annual leave, sickness you was left in the pile

Ok yea I get that but surely people’s should be on top of peoples who scan dates are middle of feb ?

Nothing we can do it’s all down to them , I do believe they should work in order but they will do what the hell they like
also more complex claims takes more timE, the more evidence they have to read/go through

Kirstylou91 · 22/05/2025 17:32

@Kelz23 let me know when u hear anything

Yeah that’s not fair I’ve seen SD 11/2 get awarded yesterday
Deffo should be done in SD order it’s very frustrating

Gemini000 · 22/05/2025 17:47

Do you think some are more detailed and complex than others' like more evidence to see if they can award different rates etc

Asdmummyhere · 22/05/2025 17:49

It was the same 2 years ago when I was waiting for DS decision. It is very frustrating but they should also be telling people the same things over the phone and they aren’t. Hope you all hear something soon 🤞

Not really as i didn’t have much at the time as his paeds appointment isn’t until September & school is still in the process of doing his ehcp referral. I did get a letter from his teacher and proof of asd assessment referrals.

That sounds pretty straight forward hopefully your decision will be made quick once with a decisom maker

ive sent in 9 pages of statement from myself , school report stating all his difficulties and that there relating to ADHD traits and a speech therapist letter form when he was 2, that’s all I’ve sent , beginning to think it isn’t enough , been on waiting list nearly 3 years to see a paediatrician rang few weeks ago they said a year or 2 at least

I know you weren’t asking me but I only sent a letter from school and a letter from our church youth worker, that’s all I had and we qualified!

Hardingcl · 22/05/2025 18:21

NC SD 25/3
A while to go but causing so much anxiety alongside fighting for everything else to be put in place. We don’t have a diagnosis yet because of waiting lists and don’t have an EHCP, but school have made there own adjustments and I sent their letter, has anyone been awarded without one?

TheLemonCat · 22/05/2025 18:43

Backpay received this morning, so relieved.

Looks like MRC backdated to when we phoned up for the forms.
Now waiting on the letter to see for how long and if LRM will be added next month at 5 years old.

Good luck everyone.

Middle rate care and lower rate mobility for 2 years xx

Catchmeifyoucam · 22/05/2025 18:53

I was 10 days late returning my form because I didn’t recieve the form until really close to when it was due, I wrote a cover letter stating why it was late but they only backdated to the 29th jan, even though my scan date was 24th jan. I called on 4th dec for my forms so missed out on a few weeks money

Keep us updated about the mobility. My DC is 5 in August (may not have a decision by then anyway) but worried I’d have to do a COC if just before their birthday to then add on mobility.
