MR - mandatory reconsideration
SD - scan date

I thought it would be within a week but for some will be 2-6 weeks, I think.

Why does MR take so long? Mine was 13/3 so I have months and months to go yet. It’s so frustrating it takes longer than the initial time taken to look at a claim!

It’s ridiculous how long its currently taking..!
I think they mindset is giving priority to NC as they not been awarded anything where as MRs are something they re looking at! Cant think of any other explanation tbh!

I wonder if anyone has been awarded MR before 25 weeks recently?

Hi everyone my Scan date is 31/1 and I've just received a back payment today, so releived, good luck to everyone i no just how stressful it is for you all. Is there someone who could help me work out what yhe payments are please xxx

Mine won't be then as my renewal is 11/6! How annoying I'm so worried we won't get it

Seen someone awarded on facebook today scan date new claim.. 24th Feb.. they seem to be doing dates all over the place..

24th Feb what the hell ain’t that like 14 weeks my scan date is 17th Feb

@Kirstylou91 my SD is 12/02 and still nothing got told different things this week when called

We’re 5 days apart then, I ain’t even rang yet I might give it a go later maybe see what they say

starting to think I’ve been or am going to be rejected with all the later dates filtering through.
they said they need info off school but what more info could they need that’s not already in his EHCP, ASD report and Ep report. It’s about to be half term so that’s going to delay any news further by the looks of it as they won’t be hearing off the school until at least the week after.

I did ring for a paper form 30th December, back payment i received was £2037

I was getting so worried I hadn't heard especially with those being awarded from Feb, I couldn't believe it when I finally seen it i can now get my dd the support she needs. I'm praying for positive outcomes for everyone on here. My dd hasn't been officially diagnosed with autisim or adhd but I did go into quite some detail about her daily and nightly life, the forms are so exhausting and having to write everything down about her life was quite upsetting.

Morning all hope this helps. My son claim is due to run out on the 1st of June I spoke to the people today and basically it’s not even been looked at yet. Hopefully I should receive a decision by the 1st of June so that’s a week basically today and still nothing still not even been looked at I’m getting really worried. I mean, I sent lots and lots of information since his last diagnosis and it was his last claim. He only had ADHD then we’ve now got a diagnosis of autism and he’s been referred for Tourette’s/tic syndrome and we’ve also got a blue badge. Tablets have also been upped. I’ve sent lots and lots of information but I just don’t know what’s happening with the dates. please somewon send help!!! X

@Mumof2JE I felt the same, my DC hasn’t got a diagnosis yet either but it’s so upsetting writing all the things they can’t do, felt like I was been so negative about my DC.
it should be 20 weeks back pay from when you called so I would assume MRC LRM

I'm starting to wonder if they actually go by scan date or the date that the forms were actually requested, I can't see how there's some end of Feb when end of January people are still waiting, a week or so yeah I get but not a month.....
