Your a similar date to me, think we have quite a wait yet

2 people I know got there award by 16 weeks,
some are getting payments before letters

Hopefully few more weeks then, closely watching for them feb dates 🙈

i rang yesterday and the lady i spoke to said it’s around 20 weeks from scan date so I’m guna wait till 7th July then ring
im hoping it’s before then but u never know 🙄

I’m not even ringing, it gives me anxiety 🙈 hopefully we hear before then. Xx

Sorry if this question has been asked a few times, I cant see the answer🙈

When you declared a change to UC after being accepted for DLA how long did they take to verify to add the disabled/care element please?

And how does it work if you've got multiple children getting DLA? As this new claim for for my other child? On a joint claim with my partner so not sure if we get it for each child, one child has middle rate and one child has higher rate care.

Also would I qualify for back payment?

Really appreciate any answers given

UC back pay from the date you called up and asked for your claim form - the date that’s stamped on the front of the form
Also UC pays for each child in receipt on DLA

Nc SD 24/01. It’s with a decision maker, I keep calling every day cus I’m so anxious. They must be so fed up of me lol! I just have a horrible feeling it will get declined cus I hardly had any evidence :(

i sent in 9 pages of statement from myself
school sen letter & speech therapy from when he was 2 that is all I sent

sorry for intruding but did you get a letter that they had received your forms? Mine were delivered a month ago and not heard anything yet

Don't apologise its okay! And yeah I received a letter about 6/8 weeks later I'd say mid April, I sent forms off end Feb! Hope this helps!
Have you phoned and asked if they've been scanned on?

I was going to call today but seen someone had been on hold for an hour and had to give up. My son is only in school 2.5 hours so didn’t want to risk it. His renewal isn’t up until early August but I’d seen some that had been done really quickly and need to send his new ehcp when they finally finalise it

Yep that was me on hold for a hour I gave up in the end it’s like they just gave up answering the phones x

It’s terrible isn’t it and when you do finally get through most of them are rude or don’t tell you anything, I waited 22 weeks in 2023 when my son was initially awarded.

Yea i think it’s because there just getting annoyed with the amount of people calling up maybe we should all just ring at the same time 😂 that will get on there nerves even more
