Still 100 years to go. I'm week 7 today on the dot. So still some time and no point ringing.

I feel like time has gone quite quick 2bh , 13 weeks yesterday , ive seen quite a few get awarded at 16 weeks
its just a waiting game

I didn’t see this thread when my claim came through the other week so will update here. They Received December 9th and money in my account whatever Tuesday it was about mid April. So less than 20 weeks. Was also very shocked to get the middle care rate with lower rate mobility (was only expecting lower rate care) didn’t submit supplementary evidence beyond diagnosis reports (AuADHD) so it’s been a very seamless process for us.

Only got for 2 years though so got to do it again next year, I know I have to fill out the form again, but will the diagnosis reports be much use at that point years later? I don’t like the idea of bothering teachers for supplementary evidence.

Hi my scan date is 5/2 still nothing yet

sd 27/1 called this morning still with a case manger been with them 2 weeks now. I’m not calling no more now driving me mad

I’ve received money into my account this morning with dd4’s reference number so I’m assuming it’s been awarded which is a huge relief as I can now buy some things for dd that she really needs.

I was very shocked to see the payment in my account!! Wasn't expecting a decision for another 10 weeks really because everyone was saying 25 week wait.

Yes I sent off loads of evidence and references from different professionals. Also sent a detailed sleep diary too xx

They didn't contact the school for our claim but I did provide a reference from them and reports so I'm assuming they classed that as school evidence xx

son gets what he deserves , I sent a school report from schools SEN also his referal for speech therapy when he was 2
and 9 pages of a statement from myself
I’m beginning to think it’s not enough ,
also still waiting for diagnosis been on waiting list nearly 3 years to see a paediatrician

We're still waiting for a diagnosis too so don't stress about that as DLA isn't dependent on the diagnosis!

Spoke to someone on the phone about my MR, they seemed nice tbh said we should have a decision by next Tuesday not sure if we will actually have a decision by then but who knows!

Do these people work during half term as if they needed to call the schools they won’t be there ?

Same SD and I've not heard anything - have they said anything to you?

I’m only calling because I’ve seen people from feb get awards after our SD that doesn’t seem fair it’s like there just picking up what ever form they want and going with it

I’m worried about this too, no schools next week and they’ll have my decision next week and they did say they may need to speak to the school so I’m not sure really but they are definitely open just not Monday as it’s bank holiday x
