MR 30/10 I’ve seen on Facebook they are still working through Octobers MR’s

Mine is 01-11
rang yesterday as mine was 25 weeks Friday just gone and they said ring back in 3 weeks if I haven’t heard anything
it’s a joke
but someone else wrote on previous thread
they was told it is now marked as urgent as time is up
I do not get why they tell people different things

Motheroffour4 · 29/04/2025 10:14

MR 24/10 just a heads up they tell u 25 weeks when u call before that they will still say from script 25 weeks then when u call on 25 weeks they will then tell you they are a week or so behind and to call back end of next week after that 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol they will tell you it’s with a case manager and that by end of week should be done AND THEN after that tell you the next week that u should leave it two weeks from when the case manager got it ! Literally a JOKE ! So frustrating

I’ve been keeping an eye on your posts because we are so close. They are clearly just fobbing people off. I’m too anxious to ring 😥

Hii, I'd phone back on option 4 if you want to know the decision usually they can transfer you but if not you can just phone back! Good luck!

It won’t let me just puts me through to the 9 pip options?

COC SD 21/10
Completed 28/04 at 27 weeks for anyone waiting x

AmusedHazelCat · 29/04/2025 11:05

I've just done a MR over the phone today due to them not receiving evidence I sent late and making a decision awarding MRC however my daughter needs care in the day & night and I have a medical letter about what she requires in the night, I have a long wait!
Sent my evidence off through the post straight away

klouc · 29/04/2025 11:06

NC - SC 21/01
Called today - not even with a decision maker. So frustrating that they seem to be all over the place with the dates they’re getting through. I know I’ve got ages to go yet but thought I’d call anyway.
Letter says up to 15 weeks but obviously they’re saying 25 now. It makes me laugh that if we missed their deadlines they’d close our claims. 😬😂

NC: SD 21/12/24
Awarded: 21/04/25 HRC & LRM for 2 years. ( No text received to say award was successful, I called on 28/04/25 to check progress and was told over the phone that a decision was made/ the date it was made and the rate. Backpay should be received at the end of the week.)

•Just as a side note my little one is Age 8 and in the assessment stage for a combined ASD & ADHD (after a 2 year wait through the Right to Choose scheme via my GP) . The local authority have also agreed to assess for an EHCP, the assessment process has just started. My little one currently attends an area inclusion provision, which she has attended since September 2024, as she was suspended from school too many times and unfortunately they are unable to accommodate her needs. For anyone in a similar situation & battling with mainstream schools, it’s a brutal process without any diagnoses, please hold in there and fight for our children, always go with your gut instinct and do not allow mainstream schools to control the narrative of our children, our children matter and deserve to have an education and experiences with other children. Keep pushing until you find a provision that suits your child.

•Evidence sent: (I didn’t send all at once as I was still gathering everything together. I sent most of the extra evidence on 12/03/24.

  1. BOXALL PROFILE
  2. GAT
  3. GRADUATED TIMETABLE PLAN AGREEMENT
  4. SEND SUPPORT PIAN
  5. IBP
  6. AIP ASSESSMENT INFORMATION
  7. INDIVIDUAL PUPIL RISK ASSESSMENT
  8. POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR PLAN
  9. BLUE FOLDER COVER
  10. INDIVIDUAL PROVISION MAP 11)(BIPRA) BEHAVIOUR INDIVIDUAL PUPIL RISK ASSESSMENT
  11. AIP DLA SUPPORT LETTER
  12. SUSPENSION LETTERS (NOT ALL)

I called for updates on :
•12/03/25- to inform them I was sending extra evidence by special delivery and to add it onto the notes. Told up to 25weeks for a decision.
•28/03/25- to check that the extra evidence was received and scanned. Told up to 25weeks for a decision.
•11/04/25- to check progress. Was told the application was in the DM department/ Not with a DM yet. Told up to 25weeks for a decision.
•22/04/25- to check progress. Was told the application was at the top of queue in DM department. Told to call back in 3 weeks.
•28/4/25- to check progress. Was told a decision was made on 21/04/25 and he told me the rate of the decision. The date the decision was made was the day before I called up on the 22/04/25.

I hope this gives you all enough detail and I hope you all get what your children deserve. These threads have been super helpful to keep up to date with dates and everyone’s experience. I hope you all get the positive news our children deserve x

Premtwinsmummy77 · 29/04/2025 12:14

SD 24/12 for NC

Have been patiently waiting, but have seen quite a few around my date so as it was 18 weeks I called up on the off chance. Just been told my twin 1 has been awarded MRC and LMR!! Beyond happy for her. Loveliest person on the phone. He told me her rates and how much the back payment will be!

No diagnosis yet. But sent evidence from her gymnastics, dance classes and a family friend who is a teacher/senco all supporting ADHD (she masks in school) Hospital reports of her sleep apnoea/sleep disorder and the hospital requesting sleep studies. Hospital reports of her frequent UTI’s and diagnosis of vulvovaginitis and info about her chronic idiopathic urticaria.
Good luck everyone
