original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit

Wow so after 21 LONG WEEKS exactly to the day 🙌

I woke up this morning to £1818 which works out my son has been awarded HRM on SMI rule... I'm absolutely over the moon as I know this is so hard to get 😫 😭
He already receives HRC

The one Day I don't call them and it must've been awarded yesterday, no text or calls.

I will await the letter to find out how long his award is for but this changes everything for him I'm absolutely made up 😭🙏🙌🫶

COC SD 19/06
My son is 5yo and conditions are below for anyone that has similar.

•Diagnosis ASD Pre verbal
•Sensory processing Disorder (SPD)
•PICA
•Congenital heart defect (TOF)
•Global developmental delay (GDD)
•Esotropia Right eye (squint) with some loss of vision.

So much support here in this group you have kept me going ❤️

I'm sure it's going to be fine. I would even ring this morning to put a note on for the DM to say you can see the extra evidence requested has been delivered. She may be checking the case daily to see if it's arrived to get her stat x

Emzi89 · 14/11/2024 09:14

@MrsW12 Thank you for your reply I hope so too 🤞

I hope so. I just keep going over and over everything and reading that bloody report to try and reassure myself. I think I I’m just nervous because I’ve seen people be declined because they don’t have a 1:1 which she doesn’t x

Stillwaiting2 · 14/11/2024 09:14

SD 12/08

been told should hear by 30/12 (20weeks)

Emzi89 · 14/11/2024 09:15

@PhoenixB19 Aww yay I'm glad you've had a decision 😊 thank you, hopefully mine won't be long now 🤞

Stillwaiting2 · 14/11/2024 09:16

Seen on fb.. 2 end of July decisions

PhoenixB19 · 14/11/2024 09:21

Just got off the phone to see how long my sons award is for...
HRC to continue
HRM awarded till 2031!!!
7 year award till he is 12 yo.
So pleased 😭🎉🥳

Good luck to all still waiting xx

CyanJewel · 14/11/2024 09:25

If that's the case my son will be declined as he doesn't have a 1:1 but he doesn't sleep. Jumps off anything and everything, will not brush his teeth or get dressed without a fight because of his sensory issues. He has violent outbursts. But most of it is at home and he can mask to a certain extent in school. But here's to hoping the listen to the parent and don't just rely on 'professionals' who hardly ever see them or have 30 other kids to deal with and share their time with x

Awww he won’t. I’m just overthinking as usual. My 11 year old gets MRC and LRM for personal care reasons and doesn’t have a 1:1. My brain has just gone into overdrive 🤪. Oh bless him. It’s so hard isn’t it. What was your SD again? X
