16 weeks tomorrow letter stated 15 weeks for decision anyone think I should call up for an update or is it too early? X

@babybellx i called last Wednesday (15 week mark) and they told me it could take up to 20 weeks but will prob go to a DM next week so would expect to have a decision in the next fortnight…

I know there’s still a lot of people ahead off me to be seen first but I saw loads of late march and few April and even a may done! The wait is giving me anxiety this last bit of wait :( I don’t know weather I should ring or not:/ I also didn’t have much evidence or ehcp as son is only getting the help started now so I’m proper worried 😂 x

Same date as me and I’ll be ringing for an update 🥰 I was told last week when I rang to ring every week for an update as texts are hit and miss x

My scan date is 02/05 so I am a while off. But I have been lurking and reading since thread 37.

This has been one hell of a year. It took me a really long time to recognise how much of the support I was providing was actually more than most needed at this age. I actually thought my child’s twin was just a magically independent teen.

I hope this is an awesome week for many of you and one that sees lots of awards made for you 🤞

I called around 2/3 last week and wasn’t waiting long as it’s school run time so not many call at that time

best times is either 9am or school run times x

Hello everyone just an update, called dla at 9am as recieved the award text on Saturday. The woman was lovely my sons scan date was 7/3 she said a decision was made on the 29th June he got mrc and lrm until 2027

I called at 9am spoke to Jackie she was lovely. She said should go to case manager this week. I will call again next week if not heard anything. @Aussielover have you heard anything about yours yet? X

Scan date 6/3 Just got the text! We've decided your child qualifies for Disability Living allowance, will call soon and find out rates to update you all, what a relief!
