hi all been a reasonably quiet week, DD1 kicked someone in the head at the park but other than that shes been ok. DD2 still not sleeping theres a suprise!

DD1 going away for a week camping with her nan and grandad and coming back mid week for dd2s birthday (cant believe she will be 2! where does time go!!)

well, vera as u r watching torchwood how about 'verajuarezrules' ? did consider verajuarezishot' but my poor-taste-o-meter siren went off...

I expect the kickee deserved it, though.

Ellen, most appointments are in the town, except OT which is at a clinic south of the city and developmental checkup which is in the city hospital.

Madwoman, DD is 2.4yo (Diplegic CP, diagnosed 3 days after she took her first steps...)

Just read the thread you linked to Ellen and am still - but then it doesn't take much these days.

I get the bit about the cinema related thread and related nastiness on the main board - its all the purple, banners and liqueur cocktails that have me a bit confuddled. Not to mention a gaggle of grannies all bedecked in purple outfits and red hats.

Still don't have a clue who anyone is either.

Yeah, I think there's danger of electrocution in lightning. The Center Parcs outdoor pool always closes in a thunderstorm. Glad you are all still live and kicking, though.

Hello Chundle! Things are snotty but good thanks. We seem to have a mad week next week with appointments Mon and Tue and then we're away for a few days the following Thur-Tues. Lots of things still coming up too.

Just remembered, Ds1 just made me laugh out loud today.

They were saying something on CBeebies about getting something done in 'no-time', when he suddenly piped up - in the most indignant and outraged voice you can imagine - "that is simply ridiculous - you obviously can't get anything done in no-time - everything takes some time - you see, that's why I don't watch CBeebies anymore!"

I had to leave the room to compose myself before explaining the phrase to him, not so much because of what he said - more the tone he said it in and his geniuine outrage!

galena we are good thanks naughty1 is severlypushing the boundaries and naughty2 has learnt to climb the bookcase, table, stairgate etc etc

Haven't seen any signs of or chocolate on the thread tonight - have we all suddenly gone on a diet and become tee total?

I am still being good - even managed to lose a couple of pounds on holiday and another this week.

Ooh chundle does naughty2 use the "get something to stand on to climb over gate with" or the "army assault course up-and-over" method?

We now tell visitors that the stair gates are there to slow dd down rather than stop her.
