How is everyone?

This week has been hectic, I feel like I am going to meet myself coming back IYSWIM, Grin

But ds had first visit to 'big school' left there for 45 mins with portage teacher. and did brill!

Also music sessions are going really well.

and my best friend is moving 2 mins walk away from me, (rather than 25 mins drive, hurrah!!!! )

I am on the Wine althou it is white not red.

and I have decided to loose a stone by the time ds goes to school. (yeah I know thats a really wimpy target, but there are a lot of stones to loose Blush and I want something that feels do-able and not another burden.)

I'm still quite new... what time do you come on here. I usually find I'm quite late by the time I get everything else done.

Triggles · 13/05/2011 22:11

creatovator evening - welcome - be wary of refreshment on here - there's refreshment and there's "refreshment"... crazy groups of peeps tonight! Grin

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 13/05/2011 22:12

DS2 still awake and muttering. I'll have to settle him soon. You'll have to join us earlier next week, creatorvator, and hold my hand before DS2 goes on his Y6 residential week. How did Alto Towers go? Do they have any queue jumping passes? DS2 doesn't 'do' waiting. Grin

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:13

Triggles - Hi. I do quite well, so I should fit in. Or maybe it's an excuse to have Wine Wine Grin

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:14

Sorry - that should say I do crazy quite well! Oops!

smugtandemfeeder · 13/05/2011 22:15

Night everyone. Puppy asleep. DS not feverish any more but is in my bed. Both DC have done their 10pm waking up and needing resettling so I'm off to sleep for a few hours til one of them wakes up screaming again. Soooo tired!

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 13/05/2011 22:15

We started at 10 to 7 this evening. My poor DH has gone to sleep on the sofa with boredom.

auntevil · 13/05/2011 22:16

How mad is this - i thought DS1 and DS2 were talking (different rooms). Just been up and DS1 is talking very loudly in his sleep and DS2 is breathing so heavily it sounds like he's sobbing (he has asthma and it gets affected by the pollen). Suspicious mother here thought that DS1 was teasing DS2 again and that he was upset.

Triggles · 13/05/2011 22:16

aw smug - hope he's feeling better in the morning!! get some rest while you can!

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 13/05/2011 22:16

Night, smug. Don't smother DS in the night!

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:17

Ellen Alto Towers seemed to go well, though DS didn't like the rain! They do queue jumping passes which works really well, though DS prefers the gardens and the old house to the rides. Think DH said he didn't go on any rides. Will try to come earlier next week. Promise.

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 13/05/2011 22:18

Mothersuspicious doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

Triggles · 13/05/2011 22:18

lol auntevil - I was just explaining to DH that siblings fight - god knows my sisters and I fought night and day sometimes! He's a bit thrown that our 4yo and 1yo stand in their own rooms and shout back and forth at each other - and are pushing each other over when they walk by each other. Never a dull moment! Grin

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 13/05/2011 22:19

Thanks, creato. DS1 and 2 both adrenaline junkies so will have to try it one day soon.

Triggles · 13/05/2011 22:19

Somehow I don't think we'll get DS2 on any rides soon... he just about came unglued today when he was sitting on my shoulders (long walk home from school) and I was holding his arms out to the side saying "oh what a nice breeze!" Meanwhile he's up there going shriek shriek shriek!!!! Blush

auntevil · 13/05/2011 22:20

Triggles, is your DH an only child, or does he just have a selective memory of his childhood.
I still know exactly which buttons to press to wind my brother up - and vice versa and he's 47 Grin

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:20

Aunt Glad to hear no tears or tantrums. I can hear DS stories on CD in background. Will have to make sure I turn them off later. Will DS2 be okay?

Triggles · 13/05/2011 22:21

auntevil - DH's only sister is 10 years older... the only memory he has of a big battle is when he drew a mustache on her full - length Gary Glitter poster. He still maintains to this day he was doing her a favour - look how that turned out!! Grin

auntevil · 13/05/2011 22:22

Yep, he's just a bit wheezy with the asthma/hayfever at the moment.

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 13/05/2011 22:22

aunt, he's not mumbling about crutches is he?

triggles, my older 2 can't walk past each other without having a poke, the younger 2 have started doing it as well now [sigh] keeps me out of trouble!

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:22

Triggles. How old is your DS2. Not a chance I'd get my 9yo on my shoulders now.

Triggles · 13/05/2011 22:24

ninjagoose our 1yo is just starting to hit and push back now... we're in for some serious throw downs soon, I imagine Grin

creatovator DS2 is 4yo.. he's very good at it. Grin

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:24

Aunt Glad to hear that - my Dad has asthma so know that he doesn't have to be too worrying. :)

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 13/05/2011 22:25

triggles, ds2 is just coming up to 2 so, yep, getting good at the old wrestling

creatovator · 13/05/2011 22:26

ninjagoose DS is 9yo and DD is 7yo. They still hit and push, though not quite as much as they used to.
