How is everyone?

This week has been hectic, I feel like I am going to meet myself coming back IYSWIM, Grin

But ds had first visit to 'big school' left there for 45 mins with portage teacher. and did brill!

Also music sessions are going really well.

and my best friend is moving 2 mins walk away from me, (rather than 25 mins drive, hurrah!!!! )

I am on the Wine althou it is white not red.

and I have decided to loose a stone by the time ds goes to school. (yeah I know thats a really wimpy target, but there are a lot of stones to loose Blush and I want something that feels do-able and not another burden.)

I just get angry over all the time wasted waiting to get in. Why can't they briefly meet with us, and give us some minor things to work on until they can get in for more intensive OT?

auntevil · 13/05/2011 19:40

I thought sign had just spelt hump? wrong Grin

signandsmile · 13/05/2011 19:41

LOL! auntevil yeah its been so long I can't remember how to spell it, let alone do it Grin

Your DS was 5, intothewest? It's funny, I'm more worried this time he's 11 because it's MS and no other SEN kids, and just MS staff going. Last time they were all SEN with 1:3 ratio (even if they did take them on the beach and a boat trip.) I can't help laughing at the worried MS parents, isn't that awful? [evilgrin]

Triggles · 13/05/2011 19:44

Well, EllenJane and I had coffee Grin

My DH & I had coffee tonight too... Hmm

I think my boat is not floating... it's sunk....

I have to say that after dealing with 4yo and 1yo, getting meals during the day, doing school runs, changing poopy nappies, cleaning and recleaning the living room, going for walks, washing hands and faces a million times a day, washing up, laundry etc etc... the LAST thing I'm inclined to do is put on a "sexy little number" to entice the DH.... Hmm I can't be the only one that just doesn't have the time or energy very often for that kind of thing..... Blush

auntevil · 13/05/2011 19:45

I thought perhaps you were thinking of "increased exercise" - or "humph" as part of your lose a stone campaign? I agree small achievable targets are much more motivating though - oh, and that comment didn't apply to the "humph" ! Grin

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 13/05/2011 19:45

Just to put the record straight, I did not meet up with Triggles for sex. Blush

Ben10isthespawnofthedevil · 13/05/2011 19:47

Well Triggles. Tonight DH is in London so I am about to put on my decidedly unsexy large PJs to snuggle up with my DS in bed and watch TV.

There is certainly none of that hanky panky going on in this house [stern look at anyone considering such things]

Triggles · 13/05/2011 19:47

I should hope not, Ellenjane.... cuz if you did, you were sadly disappointed! Grin If I haven't got time for DH, I certainly haven't got time for a fling! Grin

Ah, but the coffee was good! Even if the outdoor table did give us a lovely view of 2 delivery trucks, a rubbish truck, and roadworks. Grin

auntevil · 13/05/2011 19:47

Triggles - you're not the only one. DH not coming in until 10 ish tonight. Played golf all day (work, of course - marketing, part of his job - oh yeah!). Both of us will be too knackered Grin

signandsmile · 13/05/2011 19:49

dh would be very chuffed if my exercise routine included the odd humph!

ellen I am so tempted to add to your post, 'but these things just happen'
but that is obviously just my warped sense of humour and the fact I couldn't find a wine glass so have had a tumbler full of a very nice dry white Wine

Wink Grin

The chinook flying overhead was the last straw, really. Hmm

Triggles · 13/05/2011 19:51

I am seriously regretting offering to give up alcohol for the summer in support of DH's decision to do so. sob.... I would love a glass of wine!

Triggles · 13/05/2011 19:52

It was rather the icing on the cake, wasn't it? I was waiting for a brass band to go by at that point. Grin

signandsmile · 13/05/2011 19:53

I'm gonna be making elder flower champagne next week.

Its very low alcohol, but lovely ice cold, and you can drink lots Wink

blimey I am starting to sound like I have a problem here...Blush

alcohol is an infrequent (but occasionally welcome Wink event in the sign house...

Re the workmen, the earth obviously moved for someone!

Damn you, sign, for spotting that straight line!

Triggles · 13/05/2011 19:55

I said the coffee was good... but it wasn't THAT good! Grin

Argh. DS has a fever. 40 degrees. Should I do anything special? I have given him calpol and ibuprofen. He has woken up delirious saying "I want chuggington". Crying and crying but wont go back to sleep.

Hop Skip & Jump is the first place I have ever been able to rest in. Its full of comfy sofas and I was able to just sit and rest. Even at home DS doesnt play without my help so it was such an amazing feeling. I feel like one of those mums on a children in need video talking about how the centre has saved their life and given them some support and a lifeline for the first time in years. Amazing place!!

They have a few centres. Cotswolds. Bristol. Swindon and Cheltenham I think. hop skip jump

StarlightMcKenzie · 13/05/2011 19:58

Hiya,

Also busy writing comments for the proposed ammended statement. Doncha just LOVE the responsibility of that job. Just picking it up makes me want to hyperventilate.

StarlightMcKenzie · 13/05/2011 20:00

Sorry Ben10, just read your post and my last comment was a bit insensitive. Hope you find out soon what happened and that it is nothing serious.

Triggles · 13/05/2011 20:00

Oh smug.. your poor DS. Hate it when they're feverish and miserable! Any idea what's causing the fever at all? No rash or complaints of pain anywhere? So hard sometimes with DS2 to pinpoint a cause as he just isn't good at telling me what's wrong....

signandsmile · 13/05/2011 20:01

smug sorry to hear about fever, does he cool off with less clothes? ps no hop skip jump here in swindon yet, but lots of fund raising going on for one at the moment...
