Chicken pita sounds lovely @Blondeshavemorefun. I've bought some pittas for lunches this week.

Heres today.

Wasn't hungry do no breakfast just tea and water.

Lunch was lovely....bagel thin hex b with 2 Quorn patties 1 syn, egg, spinach rocket and 1 syn brown sauce. but like a healthy mcmuffin. I saw it on a slimming world youtuber so tried it. Mushrooms on side for more speed.

Snack...options hot choc 2 syns.

Dinner... making homemade turkey and pork meatballs in a bit all free. Well technically 6 syns for breadcrumbs but between 6 of us. Spaghetti, rocket, spinach, cucumber. Might do courgetti for me instead of spaghetti.

If I do courgetti I might have had an unintended SP day?

G and t later with call the midwife 5 syns

Loved all my meals yesterday - proper stodgy comfort food but low syn (out Friday so trying to save some syns!)

B: Scramble egg and asparagus on toast B coffee with milk A
L: Spinach & red lentil dahl, plain yogurt & berries with tsp of maple syrup 0.5
D: Mushroom risotto and side salad. Such a good recipe - i used spray oil but did add 10g butter so 3.5 sync total so if you're using your HEA for the cheese, 1 syn per portion. Tastes so creamy and rich would really recommend this one (definitely use a few dried mushrooms - they last forever so you'll use them eventually!)
Also had 2 x dairy milk chocolates 5 syns plus a fruit yogurt 2.5

1.5lb off Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2022 11:56

Fab loss. Well done @lechatnoir

Sounds lovely @lechatnoir and well done on your loss.

Let's not talk about my morning of food let's just say there was a village pancake event run by the WI so of course had to go and support them 🤣

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2022 12:56

There may be a biscotti pancake tonight

OP posts:
lechatnoir · 01/03/2022 14:27

How Many syns are you all allowing for a basic reasonable thin pancake not including toppings? Unrealistic to say I'm not going to have any but I'm happy to syn my sugar and want to stay on track this week!

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/03/2022 18:30

Ditto @Plantsandpuddlesuits. Pancakes for pudding. Hmmmmm

Way over syns again ffs

Disastrous day yesterday I was at a conference and just didn't plan or prepare so ended up with a bagel and coffee on the train there, buffet lunch, a meal deal on the train home and bowl of cereal when I got in. Not even going to bother working out syns as it will be ridiculous.

Moving on... I did manage a 6km run and can now do it without stopping which I'm really chuffed about & got a good on plan day prepped and ready:
B Greek yogurt, banana and berries
L ham & cheese A omelette and salad
D: spicy chicken (1 for oil) with dirty rice and broccoli on the side + yogurt 1
Snacks: avoiding too many syns today so sticking with fruit but might have a square of dark chocolate tonight 4

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2022 12:51

Lots of b,s then so I would count each as 6

Then again I didn’t count my pancakes or biscotti as didn’t know how to

Trying to limit damage today

Making veggie soup with the odds and sods of veg left before I shop sat

I'm expecting a gain tonight as feel really heavy. My meals have been good but I've been sneaking bits of chocolate etc here and there and a couple of glasses of wine. Also have PMT so uurgh

I made slimming world rice pudding this week was quite nice, good for breakfast so you aren't using your hex b. I used coconut milk the carton kind like a milk alternative not the tin kind. It was good but think I'll stick to regular milk

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/03/2022 14:09

Sure I made the sw rice years ago with diet lemonade

What’s the recipe. I do like rice

OP posts:
Plantsandpuddlesuits · 03/03/2022 14:16

It was 1.5 Oz of pudding rice to 400ml milk and some vanilla extract. I did it in the slow cooker, took around 3 hours
Was enough for 2 small portions

Wilma55 · 03/03/2022 17:07

L leftover mush risotto

D corned beef hash 5 (sw recipe but normal corned beef)
