@lechatnoir don't beat yourself up about it one day won't undo all of the hard work you've put in for the last six weeks!

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 17/02/2022 11:24

@lechatnoir I think one day out of 6 weeks is really good actually! The main thing is you have drawn a line under it and are getting straight back on plan today. You could have said well that's the week ruined and had an off plan day today but you haven't and I think that's something to be very proud of ❤️

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2022 15:27

Sure they won’t make a diff

I had curry one week and huge Chinese meal and another and lost a lb

This week have had 2 bad meals so thinking again or sts Tom

Blondeshavemorefun good luck for tomorrow, hope you will lose if apart from the 2 meals you stuck to it.

Lechatnoir I've found one bad day doesn't derail me, especially with exercise, although I've had to stop running due to my knee hurting afterwards, last time I tried. I have lost 1 stone 4lb since November and wondering if I should try again now I am lighter. How far do you run? I used to do Park Run, I should join my DH; he goes every week.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for my Saturday weigh in too. I've had lunch out with my Ds. Here goes for today:

B - Scrambled eggs, toast (Hex b), roasted tomatoes and red pepper

L - Fish finger ciabatta sandwich with tartare sauce and chips. No idea of syn count probably about 35

T - will be Hexa cheese salad. Speed free fruit salad to follow

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2022 16:45

Fish finger c sounds yummy. They are 2 syns each

So could you count bread as b plus syns

It’s the fibre in b that make it. But sometimes if none of my
Bread granary. I dh white one slice

2 pounds off for me! Very surprised but very pleased.

I have tried really hard this week to be fair even though it's half term so not been as strict as term time.

Really pleased!

Amazing losses well done

@GettinTrimmer I only restarted running in January and have signed up for a 10km next month Shock. Tbh it's been much harder than I thought and carrying extra weight doesn't help (with hindsight I should have done Couch to 5km to get me back into it). I know I need regular exercise to help me lose/maintain my weight & for general focus and motivation. I really got into it a few years ago and did a half marathon, regular parkruns etc and kept a steady weight for a few years very loosely following SW (ie not dissimilar meals but certainly no tracking, measuring, syns etc)
like you I got injured and just stopped and that's when the weight piled on so Determined to take it easy this time. I've also added some at home yoga and looking for a good strength session to add in once a week. So far so good & as the weight comes off this will definitely help.

lechatnoir · 19/02/2022 10:59

@Blondeshavemorefun I know what you mean about feeling cheated but you came in on plan which is the main thing.

Nice quiet & easy day for me so not envisaging any problems:

B: 2 eggs and spinach on toast B milk for coffee A
L: salad with sardines
D: chilli con carne, cheese A, rice and spinach for speed plus Doritos 6

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/02/2022 11:18

I did @lechatnoir but was hoping for an extra treat bar but didn’t

At a buffet party today so will be way over syns but will try and eat healthy

Hoping for a jacket and salad

Yesterday....

B....porridge, blueberries raspberries

L.... jacket potato beans and cheese

D..... chicken tikka masala from the SW app. Absolutely grim 😱 the chicken marinated then baked in the oven was lovely and we have some left over for lunches in the week but the sauce was horrible, I followed the recipe but it was awful..anyway I'd recommend the marinated chicken, it was 4 chicken breasts chopped up then marinated all day in the fridge in FF yogurt mixed with curry powder then baked

Today....

B....2 Weetabix with blueberries

L.... scrambled tofu, veggie sausages, mushrooms, spinach, 2 hash browns. Was in a veggie cafe so no idea of syns but hope not too bad.

D.... SW friendly spaghetti bolognaise and saladm really enjoyed that.

Having cake and wine in a bit though but sharing a cake slice with my husband this has become our new routine so I still get a treat but hopefully continue to lose weight

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/02/2022 20:53

@Plantsandpuddlesuits ive brought that via Iceland and enjoyed tho was hot so I added coconut yog 1 syn to it

L....out for Sunday roast with family so no idea on syns but I only had 2 potatoes and lots of veg (buffet style)

D.... leftover Bolognese from last night but no pasta etc with it. Salad

GettinTrimmer · 20/02/2022 19:38

lechatnoir I've started jogging again, on our treadmill at the moment with no pain in my knees. My DH has a Bitgym app and I spent 20 minutes virtually running in Edinburgh. I'd like a mini break there for real, gorgeous city! I agree with you about regular exercise, it's always helped and I am needing to step it up a notch. I am impressed at you signing up for a 10K; I've done them before but nowadays a Park Run is enough for me. My DH goes every week and tries to get me to join him. I weigh in Saturdays at 7.30am though, walk to group and back. Maybe I can start running to group!

Blondeshavemorefun you did great at the buffet, you wouldn't be derailed on what you had.

PlantsandPuddleSuits you've given me an idea for another breakfast. I did something similar the other morning but with All Bran 0.5 syn and 2.5 walnuts.

I am a bit fed up with lack of weight loss. This week only 0.5lb and gained 1lb week before. I am trying harder, more exercise and trying to be 100% on plan, but treating DD for lunch on Tuesday at Carluccio's, trying to make best choices..

Anyway for today:

B - Linda McCartney Red onion sausages, 2 slices wholemeal bread, (Hexb & 2 syns), home made tomato sauce (free) followed by banana and satsuma with spoonful of low fat Greek yogurt

L - sweet jacket potato (very filling), low fat cottage cheese, salad

T - slimming World roast potatoes, Quorn Roast, free veg, parsnip & gravy (2 syns)

S - 2 tiny pieces of cake (4 syns approx)

Hexa - skimmed milk
Hexb - babybel light x3
