B - Muller light & Banana
Snack - Chicken noodle mugshot
L - Beans on Wholemeal toast (HEb) and small portion of chicken and spinach cous cous that was left over with some olives (1.5 syns)
Snack - Grapes and Jaffa Orange
D - Chilli (4 syns) and Cauli Rice with some cheese (HEa)

I have some syns saved incase my husband fancies a trip to the pub.

I feel like I am eating so much more but they are smaller portions than usual and also loaded with S&Ps..

You all doing so well. I'm hoping to get 2 1/2lbs off tomorrow and I'll get my 1/2 stone award, fingers crossed. I'm being so strict with my syns and using them in my food rather than chocolate etc. I just can't be trusted not to binge so best to stay away, it's been a battle of willpower a few nights though but definitely getting a lot easier.

The pizza looked lovely.

Evening all. Dinner was cod roe 'battered' in egg and smash. Served with SW chips and carrots. Not bad but probably wouldn't bother ther doing the batter again. Although I am trying it in chicken in fake KFC on Sunday.

Have saved 15 syns this week for tomorrow's takeaway, so with tomorrow's I've got 30 syns. Hopefully that's enough!

Not bothered about a loss this week (Monday is weigh day) but just don't want a gain! It's been a funny week as it's my TOTM, I've been stuck at home ill, and I'm having a planned blow out tomorrow, but I've got my fingers crossed.

Evening everyone! My first week on SW with WI tomorrow. Have stuck to plan all week so hopefully will have a nice surprise on the scales time shall tell, I do know I need to up my speed foods especially with meals. But for my first week it's been alright Smile

Today's food:

B weetabix & milk
L ham pasta salad with light mayo 2syns
T home made beef and bean burgers, potato wedges and mushrooms syns for tomato and light mayo sauce
Snacks - grapes, plums and an orange

I think it just boils down to how much fibre is in the portion. I'd just class it as your B as a one off and move on.

I know that ive been going on about it all week but I cannot wait for my off plan takeaway tonight. Staying on plan till then though so it's porridge for breakfast and a pasta bolognaise with broccoli for lunch.

goosey not everyone gets that first week mega loss so don't be disappointed. 2lbs is a decent loss and what you should be aiming for as an average each week. So that's a great start!

Well done on the loss Goosey. Not everyone has a massive lost in their first week, you may well get it next week and there could be factors that stopped it this week (due on, not enough water, not enough syns used, not measuring A and B choices or not even having them). What's your usual food diary day been like?

I tried making the hash brown pizza yesterday. It was ok, didn't stay together though, so was more a jumbled mess that a pizza haha

Off to see my besties new baby today, can't wait. Love babies.

Got round to buying some of the Heck sausages you have all been talking about. For 0.5 syn each I am impressed.

My 1 syn and HEb breakfast today is yum. Scramble filled with spinach, tomatoes and spring onions.

Only 1lb off today (5.5lbs total). I know I should be happy and I am as I've only been on 2 weeks but I really wanted 1/2 stone award today. We always want more don't we? No matter how well we're doing, it's never quite enough. Sad

Afternoon all

Bit of an iffy weekend this week.

Had usual takeaway curry last night. Which I have decided I am fed up of so need to swap around next week.

But DP cooks on Saturday. We usually have a steak and he has been taught the sw way so all good. However he wanted to do something different today so has been in M and S and got the 2 dine in valentines meal deal. We have Beef Wellington, layered veg, parminter potatoes and gravy. Fishcake starters. Some fancy pudding I darent even look at AND a bottle of prosecco. Sigh.

He was so pleased with it I didn't want to burst his bubble. So will be very off plan tonight. Have had a ham and beetroot sandwich for lunch (heb) with loads of pickles on the side.

And then tomorrow we have to drop dd off at a paintballing party about 20 miles away so were planning on lunch while we were waiting for her to finish as I didn't fancy going there and back twice. Will have to chose very wisely to compensate for the billionty syns tonight. Yesterday I was probably about 10 over. I am going to add up todays and try and pull it back until WI on Wednesday.

Well done loses. Nothing wrong with 2lb!

I ate out with an old friend yesterday. Had meat with mash and veg but then I gave in and had sticky toffee pudding and ice creamBlush probably too many syns to count so will start again afresh today and try and use minimal syns.

Any weight loss is good, even half a pound. Whenever I am disappointed in a low weight loss, I visualise the actual fat lost in terms of blocks of lard and suddenly it seems okay.

I agree emma half a pound of lard is quite impressive when you think of it coming off your thighsGrin

When I lost 3 stone DH put 3 stone of rubble and compost in a large garden pot to help me see what I'd lost. I couldn't lift it!!

I began last weds-feel pretty iffy tbh! Headachey, no energy-I wonder if it's sugar withdrawal? Anyone experienced similar? I'm eating enough and drinking loads of water...

one yes that is probably the sugar and your body just generally adjusting. Power though and you'll be ok in a couple of weeks.

I've just ordered my takeaway and I'm literally so excited it's so sad Grin.

Basin my mouth is on fire and I only put half the chilli in. Will reduce it again. Dh liked it and so did I, but it was too hot for Ds.

Really enjoyed the broccoli rice too.

Lemony I think I need to drink a lot more water and currently am on (not sure if that's a problem or not) also with syns some days I may only have a couple others 8-10 honestly depends on how I'm feeling.

Looking at that picture of the lard helped a lot (makes you think when looking at it like that)!

On to a new week! Ending the day on 6.5 syns!
