1/2 lb off for me this week, should have been more but had the hangover from hell on Sunday.

Embracing it this week- I have 10 days until we go to Paris for 5 days, so need to preempt the weight gain! 2 of those days will be in Disneyland, so I fully expect that it will be burgers and hotdogs on the go, but hopefully the amount of walking we'll be doing will offset it.

There are some amazing losses here 😱 Lemony, have you tried looking at any pictures of yourself recently? The 6 stone loss must be a dramatic one!

KnobJockey · 08/02/2017 14:01

My first SP day today, nearly had a Muller but I remembered in time! Cottage pie with carrot and Swede mash for dinner, with broccoli and cabbage I think.

FaithAgain · 08/02/2017 15:38

Ali that sucks! Can you try a different group? Our consultant is fab. Next week I have to go elsewhere and even though I've heard the consultant is nice I'm worried!

ALemonyPea · 08/02/2017 15:54

Well done losers.

Ali, sorry you're not getting the support from your consultant. Is there another group you can go to?

I was slightly annoyed with mine yesterday. She made a huge song and dance about my big acheivement, and asked me to share my tips with the group, which I did. Then she said "well I wouldn't look at it the way Lemony" does Hmm. Made me feel even worse about my pathetic loss.

I have an amazing photo of then and now, it's really motivational. Not sharing it in here though, sorry guys.

lemony I don't know you but I've been on this thread since I started in October and you have inspired me, as have other posters. But to lose 6 stone is an inspiration as I don't know anyone in RL who has lost that much!
I never thought I would lose even a stone but for me to have lost almost 3 and a half stone in such a short time surprises and pleases me a lot. So thank youFlowersStar

ALemonyPea · 08/02/2017 16:24

Aww thank you, that is lovely for you to say Blush

And wtf is wrong with all these consultants?! I thought they were meant to inspire and encourageAngry
I rarely stay to group now as it doesn't offer me anything anymire and is all very cheesy. It was helpful for the first few weeks but is the same old same old. I still pay to weigh as it's the only way I won't cheat!

hairypaws · 08/02/2017 18:21

I'd like to join please.

I weigh in on Saturdays. I lost 4 1/2lbs last Saturday (my first week) and would love to get 2 1/2lbs this week for my half stone. I'm hoping to lose at least 2 st but I always get about 1/2 stone away then pile it all back on.

Love reading all your successes, helps motivation big time. Even reading the struggles help as it reminds me that we all go through it and we just need to refocus and start again.

BasinHaircut · 08/02/2017 18:40

Welcome hairy, great first week loss, good luck for Saturday.

alibongo5 · 08/02/2017 19:04

Thanks for your comments guys - it's made me feel better. Tbh I wondered whether it was me being over-sensitive. I've got the feeling before that she doesn't really like me, can't explain why but I think I'm a bit flippant, sarky and gobby for her liking! She is the complete opposite of me in that she loves chocolate but doesn't drink so doesn't really understand my take on things. And also "tweaks"!

Ironically, she had started the session asking everyone not to talk among themselves and to include everyone as she had experienced someone thinking that those talking were talking about them behind their hands and that she herself had felt unwelcome at the group she attends as a slimmer rather than as a consultant. So maybe it was just a mistake on her part. I don't know.

She's usually ok-ish and the time really suits me as I can go straight from work. I'll see how it goes after I've been on holiday and decide what to do.

But if I do move I am very tempted to tell her why!

FaithAgain · 08/02/2017 19:43

It's seriously worth considering Ali. Given that SW does the image therapy approach rather than guided talks from head office, I really do think your group is only as good as your leader!

Argh I lost 1lb!!! 1.5lb would have given me my 2 stone. It's stupid. Any other week would I have been quite happy with a pound! Deep breaths...healthy tea and meal planning for the coming week for me. I'll get it next week!

alibongo5 · 08/02/2017 20:20

Faith - that was me last week, half a pound off my stone - but I got it this week! Hang in there - it's going in the right direction!

BasinHaircut · 08/02/2017 20:26

Boring dinner tonight of a SW sweet potato curry I dug out from the back of the freezer and rice. Gonna have a pear and some yoghurt in a bit and hopefully not have messed up with my 2 lunches today!

BasinHaircut · 08/02/2017 20:27

And I can't believe those Iceland meals are supposed to feed 1! DH and I split it and it was plenty!

Groovee · 08/02/2017 20:29

I felt sick after a SW meal as it felt too much 😂 that was before I learned about adding speed.

alibongo5 · 08/02/2017 20:39

Do they actually say they'are for 1? I thought my consultant (bitch Grin) said they didn't say how many they served - it was up to you. I think I've only had one a long time ago - I'm pretty sure I scoffed the lot no problem!

FaithAgain · 08/02/2017 20:47

Thanks ali! I think PA was similar last week too?

Just had a stirfry - frozen stir veg mix and frozen rice - both from Tesco. I cooked it all up with soy sauce and lemon, then added an egg at the end. It was yummy except not so D H interrupted me just before I ate to cause a row so it was a bit cold The rice is 0.5 syns, not bad at all!

BasinHaircut · 08/02/2017 20:55

Apparently they are 'big enough to satisfy all appetites. Maybe if I was having just that it would have been ok for one, but ideally we would have added more speed as well as rice so certainly enough for two

mammybelly · 08/02/2017 20:55

Dinner tonight was chicken in hoi sin and garlic with maybe potatoes. I added scallions, mush and spinach. 3.5 syns for the sauce but it was delish!! 13.5 syns in total today. Weigh in tomorro so fingers crossed

gooseygander88 · 08/02/2017 21:18

Mammybelly sounds exactly like me, had little one in September and want to loose the baby weight plus an extra stone:) good luck on your journey Smile

ClashCityRocker · 08/02/2017 21:33

WI tomorrow after my terrible weekend.

Have been angelic Monday, Tuesday and today so hoping for damage limitation.

I feel like I'm holding about five stone of poop inside in me though! I thought vegetables were supposed to make you poop?! I've had since Monday a full bag of kale, a full bag of frozen broccoli, a tin of mushy peas, three apples, various mixed frozen berries, a tin of beans and wholemeal bread each day. And nothing.

I'm going to try a slimmatee teabag a friend gave me (yep, I over share!) before bed and see if that gets things moving. I am [....] that far off asking dh to shine a torch up there to see what's up!

Groovee · 08/02/2017 21:41

Oh feck. Forgot I had porridge this morning and had 2 hifi bars 🙈🙈🙈

PositiveAttitude · 08/02/2017 22:09

Faith I certainly was the same last week! Only lost 0.5 this week, but it got me to that award. I will be getting fed up pretty quickly if I am going to keep having 0.5lb losses though.

mammybelly · 08/02/2017 22:10

gooseygander88 it's a tough journey but we'll get there!! Good luck to you too x

OneOfTheGrundys · 08/02/2017 22:56
